The thermometer is compact and lightweight. Easy to attach to any surface, has a key mount option on the back (Using this to monitor cool box internal temperature for food when camping). Can be quickly switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit depending on preference. As for accuracy, checked against a known reliable indicator showed this reads +0.6 degrees celsius from the expected value which is well within the 1 degree tolerance. Refresh rate of approximately every 10 seconds on readout. A good, simple and effective device for temperature readout.

Not used for aquarium but for testing temp for outdoor swimming in winter. Handy for popping in swim kit bag. Much better than the baby bath temp ‘duck’ I’ve used before as it measures at swimming depth

Well it's a thermometer, it measures the temps in my aquarium and seems to be pretty precise Allthough I don't have anything that I can check that against apart from a sticker thermometer which does seem to read about the same as this digital version.Good value for money, fast delivery, and works as intended,

This replaced a glass thomometer that always needed cleaning. Only niggle I have is the button has to be pressed very hard to show the temperature, not sure how long the battery will last though.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a bit crap, see video. Temp display fluctuates when temperature isn’t.It would be ok if it worked properly however I won’t trust it to record the correct temperature in my aquarium.

Purchased for monitoring water temperatures in buckets of saltwater containing fish and coral during a cross country move. I had one plug-in thermometer already, but needed a battery operated one for lack of outlets in a car. It always reads 1.2 degrees higher than my plug-in, but reliably showed fluctuations in temperature . There may be a way to re-calibrate it, but recording the accurate temperature swings alone was enough for my purposes. I also can't for sure say there isn't an issue with my plug-in reading, so I admit there may be a possibility that it's more accurate than my existing thermometer. It's still running on the battery it came with after about 2 weeks so far of constant use. The sensor also appears to be working just fine being completely submerged in saltwater. Would recommend for the price for sure; you may just want an accurate temp to compare to initially.
