Hi Robbie, I don't know how is recording going to go as I am still waiting for my MXL 990/991 to arrive, will update my review once I get it. I bought it as it seemed very cheap for what it does, but if recording will be bad I am going to buy Scarlett interface instead. I would recommend this YouTube channel for reviews on Audio Interfaces, have a look for "PODCASTAGE". Good luck with shopping.
