After only four days we’re absolutely overjoyed with the results, our dog is no longer the Colitis Cowboy & is SO happy! At this point I messaged the man to thank them for what a difference their tablets have made to our dog’s life and their reply was swift and incredibly thoughtful. It’s clear this little company really care about their customers and most importantly about our dogs, who they actively want to help.I’d just mention briefly in response to some reviews regarding the hardness of the tablets that if you wrap a tablet in a piece of meat, we use wafer-thin chicken or ham, the whole tablet will be down the hatch before you can say, ‘I’ll get the pestle & mortar out!’ Our tiny pug cross swallows them whole in this way, the trick being to hold another little piece of meat up as you give the tablet, that way they don’t even notice a tablet is in there. That said, many dogs find the tablets delicious and will eat them like treats; alternatively, you can crush them and add to dinner.Warning, this next part contains foul details:We adopted Buddy, a retired search dog, in February this year, at age 10-11. He had unfortunately become homeless due to his family’s very difficult circumstances.We knew to expect difficulties with Buddy but decided we could and would help him as we are at home all day and it was the right thing to do.From the get-go we realised Buddy had health problems. Before we started these tablets he was regularly covering the house in foul-smelling diarrhoea mixed with blood, being sick about three times a day and generally looking like he was not long for this world. We took him to the vets who diagnosed colitis but said he was otherwise in pretty good shape.We set about finding out what was wrong and thank God after much searching and rummaging around in his ears 😬 we became certain that the issue was yeast.We then did more research and discovered recipes, bathing advice and probiotics to bring Buddy’s body back to a harmonious balance. We looked at loads of different types of tablets but settled on the Advanced Probiotic Plus from The Petcare Factory because they had extra really vital ingredients that the other probiotics on the market didn’t.Basically, we’re overjoyed with the results and so is Buddy! Use antifungal cream on any bad patches of skin. Above all though, give him Advanced Probiotic Plus. Gave one a day to my cocker spaniel who weighs 12/13 kg (though the instructions said 2 for a dog her weight). It made a big difference after 4 weeks. At week 3 it was already obvious her tummy was re-setting itself. My dog only has smelly farts when her tummy is upset and for 2/3 days into week 3 she stank the house out but after that her tummy settled. She stopped eating grass, stopped having as many problems with her anal glands and most importantly her poos were better formed. I had to stop giving them to her when she became pregnant and within a week she had runny poos and was back to eating grass. Can't wait to get her back on them after she's whelped.This is a very good product for my dog and I will keep giving them to her even if it is an expense because it really is worth it for a dog who has had a sensitive stomach from the day we got her from the breeder. She went off the taste after a few weeks so I just dunk it into a teeny bit of peanut butter and she eats it. It is a very hard tablet, tough to break up and most times she swallows it whole, which does not seem to harm her.

It helped with my dogs digestion problem - no more eating grass and being colicky. No real change with the skin problem but will carry on using it as that problem may take a bit longer.certainly helped with digestion problems, less colicky and no eating grass. Took a bit of remembering to give it away from meals and my fussy dog wouldnt take them unless i wrapped them in food.

My Cavapoo has had the runs daily all her life, no matter what food. Vet prescribes hypoallergenic pricey food - makes little difference. Tried canine probiotic powder - little improvement. Tried these, with low expectation. She won’t take whole - I crush into her breakfast. 3 weeks in and she has consistently ‘normal’ poo - no runs! Her coat is lovely and her eyes are sparkly! A miracle? Definitely recommend to anyone with a sensitive pup!!! Good value for a healthy dog. Can’t comment on flavour!3 MONTHS ON: Still consistently happy poos! Occasional grass nibbling and slight looseness when I've over indulged her with treats, but overall, happy tummy, glossy coat, sparkly eyes and a zest for life. Just ordered a new batch. Like humans, overall wellbeing begins in the gut and my happy Cava is a testament to that! Highly recommend!

I bought this as I have a french bulldog with a leaky gut problem after having to take some heavy duty drugs & powerful antibiotics after a serious spinal injury,french bulldogs often get gut problems anyway,but after looking at his diet, ruling out food allergies & other illnesses,we were left with him still having problems where every few days he would vomit & be obviously uncomfortable in his tummy & just didnt feel well...when this happened he would have to go on plain boiled rice & chicken for a couple of days till his tummy settled down & he felt better again.I researched that putting dogs on probiotics can alleviate a leaky gut & improve stomach problems generally - especially if the gut has been left damaged after a lot of antibiotics which winston did indeed have to prevent infection while his spine healed so I gave these a try with not really expecting much & a tad sceptical.I wish Id put him on them months ago! hes now been on them a month & weve only had one upset tummy in all that time whereas before it was every 5 days or so,hes stopped being sick,is enjoying his normal diet again & is full of beans..I think he just feels better & he seems to have more energy,I would highly reccomend these to everyone,they have saved my dog a lot of discomfort & I will keep him on these indefinately Im very impressed
