Nice big pads. I have only used for cold as for heat I'd much rather use a hot water bottle. I baught a few of these to help with Hip Bursitis. Being on the hip, bit of a pain to hold in place but the bag with the large elestic band helps to hold it in place. Personally i have found in the bag doesn't give as immediate releif. They don't seem to last very long either but i think thats down to their thin size, not enough thermal mass. other side if you have more mass it would be heavier and more dififcult to hold in place so i guess it's a good comprimise. With a few of them a just keep swapping them out. Good quality. Comfortable, flexable, Don't leak, Helps with Hip pain to an extent.

This is a really big plate of cold - as the illustrations show, it can be used on a shoulder, but it's also convenient enough to use on a leg or arm. I'm using it on my calf. It's a bit more fuss to use than a gel pack with strap, because you take the gel pack out of the freezer and put it into a bag before strapping it on. However that means it stays cold for the whole 20 minutes (because there's a fleece on the outside of it), and the straps (one short, one long) are perfect to hold in position with the short one whilst adjusting the long one, then returning to tighten the short one. I've had no end of trouble trying to get gel packs without straps to stay in place, and mostly the straps are too short for anything but an ankle or wrist - these ones are fine. There's also a strap extender which makes the short strap as long as the long one. I'm very pleased with this. I don't expect to get too many injuries (we never do), but I might just start using a cold pack post-workout for more rapid recovery.

As in the heading, the extra large sized gel ice pack is really useful. For example, wrapped in a towel and placed in a pillow case is makes a fine cool pillow for headaches. And it's big enough to be applied to almost any part of the body. The elasticated Velcro straps to support let it down. The way they're attached means that it's only possible to hold it in the upright position on your back. To hold it horizontally I had to remove and reattach the straps. This works, but they're too flimsy to support the weight of the large gel pack properly anyway, so it keeps sliding down your back. I had to put a body belt over it to keep it in position. Nevertheless, as I said it's worth having just for the extra large gel ice pack.

Brilliant with easing arthritic pain. I keep mine in fridge or freezer depending on pain level. Stays secure on back and hip ( not used on shoulder)

These are perfect, excellent quality, using them following a knee replacement

Melted in the microwave after a third of the specified time. It was my first time using straight out the box. Giving it 2 stars because my old one is still working well as a cold pack.

Ich habe mir diese grossen Kuehl- bzw. Waermepacks auf Grund einer dato sehr schmerzhaften beidseitiger Knie-Bursitis (Schleimbeutelentzuendung) gekauft. Die Icepacks die ich sonst so in meinem Gefrierfach habe bzgl. meiner Arthrose, sind leider zu klein, so dass ich immer genoetigt war, mehrere Packs geschlichtet fuer ein Knie zu verwenden. Die Packs sind sicher am Rand ~1cm breit verschweisst, und in drei gleichen Sektionen unterteilt ... wobei diese, untereinander eine Gelzufuehrung aufweisen. So dass ich vor dem einfrieren, je nachdem wo ich mehr Kuehlgel benoetige (entweder mittig oder eben an den Seiten), diese langsam auf Druck von einem Bereich in den anderen verschieben kann, bevor ich sie dann in den Gefrierschrank lege. Dies finde ich einfach nur genial geloest - TOP !! Auch sind die Gummibaender zur Fixierung sehr breit gehalten (5,6cm), so dass diese nicht einschneiden, oder schlimmsten falls eine geregelte Blutzufuhr unterdruecken. Auch halten die Packs da wo sie sitzen sollen, selbst unterm gehen ... SUPER und Daumen hoch ! Das Aussen-Material der Icepacks (einseitig gummiertes Gewebe), kennt man von qualitativ hochwertigen grossen aufblasbaren Pools, Plantschbecken und sogar Schlauchbooten. Die Verwendung ist sehr einfach ... durch die langen breiten Gummizurrbaender mit Klett, ist eine Fixierung an den angegebenen Stellen schnell geschehen. Die Icepack-Huellen, haben innen ein schwarzes Mesh-Gewebe (welches auf der betroffenen Stelle aufliegt) und aussen ein etwas gepolstertes blaues Vlies. Auf der Huelle sind zwei Gummibaender fest vernaeht, wobei Eines eine Laenge von 30cm, und das Andere eine Laenge von 73cm aufweist. Jedem Pack liegt auch noch eine zusaetzliche Gummiband-Verlaengerungen von 54cm bei. Ferner befand sich in den zwei Packs die ich bestellt habe, jeweils noch als kleine Zugabe ein Kuehlschal fuer heisse Sommertage. WICHTIG: Bitte die Icepacks nicht gleich vom Gefrierschrank raus verwenden, sondern das Pack noch ca. 5 Minuten liegen lassen. Grund dafuer ist, dass sich das Kuehlpack dadurch besser um einen Bereich wickeln laesst, und nicht unnoetiger Druck vom gefrorenen Gel auf die Kammern provoziert wird. Das Icepack bzw. das darin enthaltene Gel, haelt, vergleichsmaessig zu den anderen Packs die ich habe, laenger kuehl. Mein Vergleich bezog sich auf das identische Kuehlpack-Gewicht von ~987g. Auf mein kochend heisses Knie gelegt bzw. umwickelt, kann ich selbst nach 3 Stunden noch eine kuehlende Wirkung feststellen. Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit meiner Bewertung etwas zur Kaufentscheidung beitragen.

Devo dire ottimo acquisto lo utilizzo la sera dopo il lavoro, lo riscaldo in microonde per 2 minuti e lo applico sulla zona lombare, rilassa i muscoli e scioglie le contratture, ma puo essere utilizzato anche con il freddo, il gel è ben distribuito all interno

Bolsa de hielo que incluye funda con velcro. Es de gran tamaño. Acopla perfecto y permite tensar hasta que se ajusta al grosor de tu extremidad. Reseñar que la bolsa de hielo es de tres módulos, y es de muy buena calidad. Le doy un diez.
