Easy to use and fitted well

Assuming your door already has the relevant hole, if you are replacing a previous catflap, for example, all it takes is 4 screws to fit and takes about 2 minutes, if that.THis is the thrid one i have fit, but we have a field out the back that has foxes and badgers living there, and more than once they have managed to make their way through the flap at night when it was set to in only and then almost ripped the thing to pieces trying to get out again! Not the fault of the catflap, obviously. There's not much that is going to get in the way of an angry badger!It's a basic catflap, you can lock it to in/out only or totally locked, and it doesn;t have any sort of microchip to lock it to other cats or animals. but it does the job, is inexpensive, and very easy to fit.If you have a thinner door, just remember to fit the spacers onto the screws before you put them in the holes so that the screws don;t stick out to far on the other side, but that is as complicated as it gets. 4 screws and mpop the covers over the holes.like i said, two minutes.

I installed this in my shed for a feral cat as I've made carpeted platforms in there for him to escape the weather. This cat door was the second one I tried, the first (a different brand) had a design flaw and couldn't lock due to the screws being too long, and felt very flimsy and small. This was perfect as the feral cat is a big boy, and it locks or unlocks fast (great for catching him to take to the vet), he used it easily after only a few treats to show him how. Has held up well for several months. Also easy to clean.

Title is self explanatory, works as described but our cat can unlock the slider to allow herself outside. We have found her outside multiple times when we’ve been out. Even after barricading the cat flap. Will have to invest in a harder to unlock cat flap.

The cat flap was fairly easy to fit to the back door but I personally do not think it is suitable for the type of door I have. The door is half double glazed and has insulation on the bottom half sandwiched between sheets of metal, this meant the screws supplied were not long enough, thankfully my son had brought his tool kit which contained various sizes of screws so was able to get the cat flap fitted.It took my 2 cats a few days to get used to using it but they both come and go whenever they want.The magnet seems to be quite strong so should last a long time. Overall I am really happy with the cat flap but I would advise you check the measurements of your door, my daughter-in-law bought the cat flap for me when we knew I would be moving which is why the correct measurements were not known but considering the issues we had with the fitting it still works really well

Needed a flap for an internal door.It was easy to follow instructions and fit into the door. Looks nice and neat and works well, cat has no issue's using it even though I had to place it lower on the door due to door shape.

Wir haben die Klappe am oberen Ende unserer Katzentreppe zum Balkon angebracht, damit wir bei Bedarf unseren Katzen den Gang in den Garten verweigern können, und wir zusätzlich dazu auch nachts dafür sorgen können, dass Marder und Co sich nicht bei uns auf dem Balkon umsehen. Deshalb ist es für uns unerheblich, ob die Klappe zugdicht ist oder nicht. Sie war jedenfalls gut einzubauen (wobei wir nicht so ganz verstanden haben, wie man die Klappe von beiden Seiten mit nur vier Schrauben fixieren soll - wir haben dann einfach noch vier dazu genommen).Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob eine 7 kg Katze durch die Klappe passen würde. Ich habe eine BKH und eine Maine Coon, die 4kg bzw. 4.5 kg wiegen - sie passen gut durch. Mit den Magneten haben sie kein Problem, allerdings sind sie beide bereits mit Katzenklappen vertraut. Ich glaube nicht, dass die Magnete zu schwer sind, aber man muss seiner Katze natürlich beibringen, dass sie ein bisschen Druck auf die Tür ausüben muss, damit sie nach hinten schwingt.Für den Preis eine solide Sache.

It took me a while to get the new cat door installed but once I did I can see it is much better quality than my old cat door. Installation was easy, the weather stripping is good. The door looks great and the cats can see through it well! It is also not as noisy as my old cat door. Absolutely 100% satisfied with my purchase.
