However, when I actually started using my Copic markers on it, I couldn't believe how effective it was in stopping the ink from bleeding through; you can be as liberal as you like with the ink and NOTHING bleeds through. It's quite incredible. One thing I would caution against however, is to be super careful if you' re using pencils to sketch and/or fineliners to put down outlines; if you press too hard, it will leave an indentation on the paper below, so you might want to put something beneath the paper you're working on before doing this. Other than this, this stuff is pretty much perfect, the colours go down beautifully and you can mix them to your heart's content without worrying about it bleeding through or spreading out.
