Amazing product
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a brilliant product, it has slowed down my 2 rescue cats' eating speeds from 5 minutes to 20-30 minutes whilst giving them a stimulating activity. They have stopped asking from more food after mealtimes and really enjoy the challenge of the maze. One is 6 months' old and her mum is 18 months' old. The mum was less keen at first but after the third mealtime using the slow feed bowl she realised that it was her only way to get a meal so got properly stuck in. Both use it equally efficiently. It has been smooth sailing ever since. I have attached a video and a photo of them using it for reference. The only negative thing I would say is that the bowl moves around a lot so we have put it on a rubber mat to prevent it from moving too much and this works really well.

Elegant Dining for Jack
Our cat Jack (a cat not noted for his intellect) has now figured out his own system for obtaining his dry food. He is definitely a "southpaw" using it exclusively to flick food out to eat. It has slowed him down markedly and this has resulted in better digestion and fewer incidents of "throwing up" following feeding, as previously he wolfed everything down in a frenzy. The new bowl has already clocked up several kilometres as it travels around the utility room, despite a rubber mat, but it provides a reasonable workout for Jack.... Another benefit!Very happy with purchase and Jack has accepted the new regime with good grace. Purple not really his colour!Jack's PA Keith D

Appears to be working well
As stated on the product site, it does take a bit of getting used to for the cat to eat out of this bowl. However, since getting this about 3 weeks ago we have only had 1 (small) vomit so it is a definite improvement, The bowl doesn't look the prettiest and it is quite large but it does the job. My cat is obviously getting enough food because she isn't pestering constantly. It is definitely worth investing in a non-slip mat to put underneath though - my poor cat was clearly chasing the bowl around for the first few days

Not for every cat
Bought this because one of my cats was bolting his food (dry) and then bringing it up. It’s an interesting design and solidly made but isnt for every cat. I tried it with both my cats and they ended up frustrated and crying as they tried to get at the food. Perhaps they are too old and you can’t teach an old cat new tricks. In the end the vet recommended giving him half his food and the other half later. The two stars is not for product quality or service but to make owners aware that it isn’t for every cat.

Love it but a little too big for one cat
This has certainly slowed down Roxy's eating but for one puss it is a bit on the large size. I have trouble getting it into my washing up bowl and really no where to store it. However, she seems to cope well with it and it does the trick. Love the fact it is bamboo and not plastic and that it's made in the UK. (I hope it is and not China).

Did the job
My big tom cat was a serial puker, which the vet said was most likely due to his apparent inability to chew food, rather just hoovering it up and then depositing it somewhere in the house half an hour later :(In the four months since I bought two of these, he's puked once and that was down to hairballs.I don't write reviews like ever, but this was a great purchase and I'm just disappointed I didn't buy them sooner

This works
I've taken my time before writing this review.Initially my cat was displeased with this new bowl. He usually hoovers his food in 20 seconds flat and he couldn't get to the food and would give up.I slowly transitioned him over putting a bit more in each day and he has worked it out. Takes him 10 mins to eat now.It does get a little messy so I recommend getting a big mat for underneath.

Excellent
Excellent product, love the fact it’s not plastic. My cat is also challenged to get the food.
