A simple product allowing your to aerate wine while pouring, which seems to help taste develop quicker than just letting the wine breathe in the bottle, and less hassle than using a decanter. It fits snuggly in wine bottle top, and I’ve had no issues with slippage or falling out of the bottle. Easy to clean and store, with a solid build quality. I would recommend and have to friends for this price point it’s good value.

Bought this for my wine buff partner as a stocking filler and he uses it a lot. We saw one being used at a wine tasting and it was working well there and it's worked well for us. Just pop it into the bottle and it saves the need to decant the wine. Also good for a bottle too recently opened.

This feels cheap but it really does the job well. Fits almost every size and gets used every time!

We loved this so much we bought one for the parents in law. Worth every penny. Easy to use and wine tastes much lighter for those who prefer that. Also husband has gout (he turned 40 and it just happened!!) and this is supposed to help removed tannins - which affects gout. All round winner!

Tried this device and can detect no contribution to the airing of a newly opened wine. Also although one can flush it through with water after use it cannot be easily cleaned. A waste of money in my view.

Great accessory - makes it almost unnecessary to decant the wine. The only important trick when using it Is to fix the aerator well in the bottle and incline the bottle at a high angle to pour the wine in the glass - almost vertical. Then it works very well. If you just pour it from the bottle as you normally would do without the accessory, it doesn't work well at all. Took me some time to understand that.

I got this as a gift for my Mum, a lover of red wine. She likes a good bottle but doesnt like to spend too much so get bottles around the £5-10 mark. This aerator fits in to the top of a standard wine bottle very well and acts as a pourer which stops drips from the wine, which in my opinion almost makes this worth its price alone because noone wants red wine droplets everywhere cos it stains terribly. I believe it has holes inside so that as the wine is poured from bottle to glass via pourer it is oxygenated. Mum seems happy with it. She said that she is sure the wine tastes better. At first she wondered if it was psychsomatic but after more testing (a hard job but had to be done for the sake of a fair review) she is sure that there is an improvement to the taste of the wine. Its not dramatic, but it does make a difference!
