Boudica Shine Shampoo & Boudica Smooth & Shine Conditioner - Sulphate Free, Colour & Keratin Friendly - Large 500ml Bottles

I wrote a review a few months ago but it doesn't seem to have gone up, so here's my second attempt! I heard a lot about this range on the beauty rumour mill and decided to try the comparatively pocket friendly shine duo. I love that it has no nasty additives, but that's more of a bonus that a pre-requisite for me.You really only need a little of the shampoo as it goes a very long way. I know foaming isn't necessarily an indicator of good cleansing blah blah blah, but personally I love a good foam on a shampoo - lets me know I haven't missed anywhere! Other than the gorgeous smell, another bonus of this shampoo is that it is supposed to prevent colour fade if you dye your hair - I don't dye mine so can't comment but it's just another tick in the box for someone who does!With the conditioner again you only need a little, I always comb it through and even with the little I use (on my rather long hair) there is an excess that comes out, so you really do get a lot for your money. The conditioner is a completely different smell to the shampoo, it's more masculine / unisex, and is the same conditioner to be used with all the shampoos - less agonising over which one to choose I say! I might be slightly mad, or just not rinsing the shampoo out well enough, but for me the conditioner has some body to it almost like a teeny tiny foam when rubbed in. I quite like that, as again I know exactly where I have / haven't put it. Also, the conditioner is lovely and light weight. I have fine hair that is weighed down easily / looks greasy with a heavy conditioner - not a problem with Boudica!I think the duo work well together, and I do get a nice shine on my dark blond hair that I've not been able to achieve with other brands (I don't go near the stuff that coats your hair in silicone). All in all, a lovely duo that works well for my hair and is in the shampoo/conditioner rotation in my bathroom! I'm sure my other half won't mind that I'm taking up even MORE space along the bath... ^_^

Started off great, the shampoo seemd fine and conditioner really helped. However after using for a while, developed a really painful and itchy rash on my scalp. It took me a while to work out it was Boudica that was causing it as, with the supposed ‘friendly’ ingredients, I did not think this product could be the cause. Its taking a while to clear up, but much improved since I have stopped using the product. I believe this has caused dry eye issues too with the product being on my pillow from hair. I have only ever bought this off Amazon and tbh Im not 100% convinced it is a genuine product as the colour of the contents has varied from clear to a creamy colour. Another point that made me wonder was I hadnt noticed some shampoo had run into the bath and when I went to clean it off it was a real sticky almost glue like mess which took some amount of effort to clean. That cannot be good for your head/hair!!!!! Initially I would have recommended, but now I know this has definitely caused more problems than advantages.

Not very happy. Upon receiving my order the shampoo states ‘men’s’ when the image on amazon says it’s ‘shine’Also, the conditioner is meant to be 500ml but def felt lighter than the shampoo, put on the scales and it was only 410ml including the bottle!! It’s def not a full bottle. Returning straight away for a refund

Went for this as it is sulphate and paraben-free. Have to use this kind of shampoo otherwise my scalp gets really uncomfortable and sensitive.Overall I do like this. The conditioner doesn't do much for my hair, so I don't use it, but the shampoo does the job. Much cheaper than my previous shampoo, and doesn't irritate my scalp. I find that if I use it for several days in a row, my hair starts to feel a bit flat and greasy, so for 2 days out of 7, I use my old shampoo. Means I don't spend anywhere near as much on shampoo as I used to!

Amazing set hair feels bathed in silk when conditioner applied I have 3b 3a 2b in crown & back curly mixed texture afro hair & the shampoo needs a 20p piece size drop of shampoo with each wash lather feels creamy like facial moisturiser hair comes out very very clean. And fresh I find product build up can thicken & coarsen my hair between washes I know use a spray on moisturising cleanser so I can wash mine and my daughters 3a 3c 4a hair every 4 days it's harder to manage by day 2 even using just water, diluted leave in conditioner and a small amount of coconut oil to seal. As this shampoo is ideal for daily wash I find every 4 days great. My scalp feels clean but not dried out. My hair does not tangle if however with my hair type I wash it daily or every 2 days my hair feels weak and stringy so you really need to find the right timing between washes based on your hair type. I was also impressed that after doing pre wash treatments with a castor oil boudica shine was able to wash out the residue and leave no build up with 1 wash so I'm very happy. Now the conditioner what can I say even when I've got held up & my hair has air dried naturally with no product the shine movement and manageability are amazing. My daughter co washed hers with boudica nourishing yesterday she hasn't applied any product just air dried and her hair looks glossy and feels soft & manageable once leave in is applied the condition & shine will just be amazing. I have never had any products come close and the fact it's free of all the products I choose to avoid in my hair and skincare regimen. For me finding a product like this has been very important I am disabled and need to rely on others to do my personal care. Since changing to this shampoo conditioner combo the compliments on the health shine and softness of my hair are coming thick and fast and my new growth is coming in faster and softer I have made a few changes to my diet and hair are regime beforehand but the growth is since using these and the softness is important and with natural virgin afro/ mixed hair just past shoulders fine texture easy tangle prone too frizz in areas,anything that makes it more manageable easy to style and clean fresh and smelling gorgeous is a godsend and a blessing to me. I'm hoping someone will buy me the Boudica prima shampoo & nourishing conditioner set for Christmas. I am hoping the development team will bring out some leave-in-conditioner, heat protection, finishing gel, shine spray and curl defining cream would just be so nice to have every natural carcinogen free product all from the same company. I had given up hope of finding a high quality product which didn't contain a list of ingredients that I refuse too subject my health too. Buy it try you will love it I'm sure no matter your hair type or condition unless your hair or current products don't agree with it for whatever reason you should see healthier, stronger, shinier, easier to manage beautiful hair I've learnt how to do selfies lol to record the results after each use so pleased with this:-)

Estoy maravillosamente sorprendida. Nunca he conseguido un resultado como este. Tengo el pelo encrespado y además un cuero cabelludo delicado.El resultado... nunca antes lo había conseguido. Rizo estupendos y el pelo nada encrespado a la vez que fuerte. Antes lo tenía muy delicado y súper delgado.Lo recomiendo pero muchoooo

The best shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair! I was on a constant search looking for shampoos that would help preserve the semi-permanent Arctic Fox hair dye and this did the trick! I've washed it 3 times since dying it and the color is still vibrant and lovely! I found my new fave shampoo and conditioner! :-D

Il pacco e' arrivato puntuale, lo shampoo boudica sinceramente non lo conoscevo , l'ho scelto in base alle recensioni trovate su Amazon e devo dire che ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative: e' adatto come terapia di mantenimento per i capelli stirati con la cheratina in quanto è privo di sali, solfati , parabeni e formaldeide. Inoltre contiene olio di avocado e altri principi attivi naturali, mi ha lasciato i capelli morbidi , luminosi e piacevolmente profumati! Insieme allo shampoo e ' arrivato il balsamo anch'esso da 500 ml, con le stesse caratteristiche dello shampoo. Pienamente soddisfatta!

Livraison rapide!! J'adore ce duo shampoing + après shampoing. Ils sont SLS, très bonne qualité, ils conviennent si vous avez en lissage brésilien. J'utilise ce genre de produit car il protège vos cheveux de l'eau calcaire. Le sel ouvre les écailles des cheveux et les fragilisent. Attention: ce genre de produits contient tout de même de petites quantités de sulfates car ils servent à faire mousser les cheveux. Ne vous attendait pas à trouver 0% sulfates

Das Shampoo wurde mir von Freunden empfohlen und ich bin auch begeistert. Es ist in der Konsistenz reichhaltiger als meine bisherigen Shampoos und hält dadurch auch sehr lange. Es duftet leicht und angenehm nach Himbeeren. Meine Haare sind viel kräftiger geworden und glänzen auch mehr. Auch die Optik der Flaschen ist sehr schön. Einfach schlicht und elegant. Es ist ein sehr hochwertiges Produkt und ich kann es auch nur weiterempfehlen.Der Conditioner ist das Abschlussprodukt der Pflegelinie und sehr reichhaltig. Er duftet sehr angenehm und hat bei mir auch eine erfrischende Wirkung auf der Kopfhaut. Die Haare fühlen sich nach der Anwendung sehr weich, geschmeidig und sauber an. Auch das spätere Kämmen ist danach sehr leicht. Auch für dieses Produkt kann ich nur eine Empfehlung aussprechen.
