Feels like a product four times the price - excellent
This product is lovely and the price is excellent value. It smells and feels like a much more expensive brand. I need to use SLS free products as SLS irritates my skin and scalp. Prior to this I was using Dr Organics hair care from Holland and Barrett, which I felt was a bit too expensive for my budget (£5.99 a bottle) and the products failed to give me the results I was looking for. I have very course, curly, frizzy, dyed hair which I blow dry and straighten so it gets a lot of abuse! The Dr Organics stuff just made it dry and frizzier!! The Palmers coconut range is fantastic. Rich, creamy, luxurious and leaves hair feeling tangle free and cared for. I am not a fan of coconut, personally, but I find this fragrance to be quite pleasant, and not overpowering. My husband has commented several times about how nice my hair smells and he has never complimented my hair smell in the 20 years we have been together! So that is a plus point! I have now invested in the leave in conditioner and the hair milk in this range. Can't wait to try them. I WILL get smooth frizz free hair one day!!

Lovely shampoo for thick, coarse hair.
Having coarse, thick hair, I am always desperate to find shampoos that do not leave my hair feeling dry. Thankfully Palmers has me covered. This shampoo is great, albeit a little thick. I find adding a drop of water helps or just using tiny amounts and adding them to the top, underside & sides of my head & massaging in well, also works for getting it to spread & cover my head. Because it is so thick, it takes a bit of rinsing out, however, so I have to check in the mirror that I've got no areas that still lather up when I think I'm done rinsing it all out.It smells nice - not overpowering. It seems very gentle & doesn't appear to be damaging to my hair or colour. My hair is so soft & easy to comb through after using this shampoo, unlike some other brands.Really do like this shampoo & will continue to purchase it. Would recommend.

Very thick fragrant shampoo
I found the shampoo to feel like very nice quality. The consistency was very thick, so much so that it was harder to squeeze out than my previous shampoo ( loreal elvive). The fragrance was perfect, coconut but not overpowering and sweet. Lather was lovely and creamy, not sure what affect is of not having sulfates in it but guessing it will be a good thing. My hair type is thick and curly. It left my hair soft and wavy even without products or conditioners and even after a quick blast of the hair dryer. Would re buy.

Great for dry hair - but not completely sulphate free
This shampoo makes a difference from first use. I have really dry hair and have to use a lot of hair oils/ treatments, but with this shampoo it makes my hair a lot more manageable I can actually skip oil treatments because otherwise my hair actually feels weighed down and over-conditioned. It has a really nice coconut smells which isn't too overpowering too.The only downside is, the shampoo says it is sulphate free - but there is still a sulphate on the ingredient list. This shampoo does not however have SLS and the more harmful sulphates that really dry out and strip the hair however - which is why I think it works so well. But if you want something 100% sulphate free this is not the one, but it is however a great nourishing SLS free shampoo.

Love this schampoo
The shampoo is one of not many to have less chemicals in it. I combine it with essential oils and this way I've reduced ichy scalp. The shampoo is really gentle and smells amazing, with a hint of essential oils my hair are light and soft.

NOT recommended for Fine/Thin hair
3* review - great smell, does what it says on the tin but doesn't personally agree with my hair.Lovely smelling product but unfortunately, it left my hair greasy immediately after washing.I wash my hair with shampoo twice a week. I usually towel dry it, plait and leave over night to dry (unless styling for an occasion), but I was waking up to oily/greasy hair. I tried blow drying immediately after towel drying but still my roots looked greasy.I have med/fine hair that I dye, so thought I'd give this shampoo a go, but sadly it's not for me. My hair did smell great and feel smooth, but didn't 'look' clean and wasn't easy to style so I've had to stop using it.

Best shampoo I have used in long time
This shampoo is the best I have used in a long time. It is nice and thick and quite concentrated. It doesn't irritate my scalp. I usually have itching and flaky scalp. What is even better is that I don't feel I need conditioner afterwards so can use condioless frequently. My hair isn't tangled after using it either. I will continue to use it while it is such a good price. Highly recommended!
