Delightful little gadget. Very easy to handle and operate. I keep it on the fridge door (magnet on back) for cooking etc. However it can be used anywhere in the home or office - anywhere. The best feature is that it counts both UP and DOWN - good for homework, timing phone calls etc. The bell is loud, but not too loud. Much, much better investment than the little wind up timers which are so unreliable. Great find!UPDATE: I bought another timer early October 2016. However this one was faulty - the alarm is barely audible. There are obviously some quality control issues here. And it cost another £2!!

I bought this for my 7 and 3 year old girls to use when I need them to do something within a certain time-frame, eg brushing their teeth. I set the time and they take it with them. It can stand on it's own or be attached via a clip or a magnet. It can also be used like a stop-watch which comes in handy. The timer is sturdy enough to survive use by my (very) rough toddler which is no mean feat. A great buy

This is a great, loud timer works great but there is no off button so to turn off you need to take the battery out which is slightly annoying.

Great little timer - I bought this for my daughter and have since borrowed it because it makes a perfect kitchen timer!The timer has a lot going for it:- It has a very simple design and has intuitive buttons to go, stop, reset and put the length of time in. I haven’t read the instructions and have no problems using it.- It has a nice loud beeper- It can time up to 99 minutes- it can time seconds too (and shows the seconds counting down when timing minutes.)- It is very compact and fits easily in a drawer.- Has a gold out ‘stand up’ back rest (like a picture frame) which also has a magnet behind it to stick to fridge doors etc.We love it!

This is a simple to use timer and my 5 year old understood it straight away. I bought it to keep in the bathroom so my children could set 2 minutes on the timer when brushing their teeth and its put a good routine in place as they enjoy setting it and 'starting'. They do not get bored brushing their teeth or spend seconds not brushing them properly because they watch the time. They do 1 minutes top teeth, one minute bottom teeth.Really happy as brushing teeth has always been something my children cannot be bothered doing, but they look forward to it now.

Its okay for seconds countdown, but the purpose I had bought was to use in competitions, and wanted to use it as a stop watch with tenth of seconds being counted.Otherwise the timer is about 4inchx4inch in shape and can do countdown or stopwatch function with minutes and seconds on the clock.

I love this product. I use it for timing all my cooking, it's very easy to use for all your things that you need to time. I also use it to learn my grandson how to time things. It's great value for money and very sturdy.
