My daughter wanted this light after seeing it in a makeup studio while she was getting her make up done for going out. I knew it would be a great light as I seen it set up & in use. I took a chance ordering this as the info said it came with the stand but some reviewers said it didn't. Well it definitely does come with the stand but it's very easy to miss it in the box as I nearly did. Once u take the light out of the box it looks empty but there's a side bit of cardboard which is easily missed as I was just about to throw it out butcthats the part that contains the stand so I assume other reviews who said it didn't contain the stand Done the same thing I almost did. The light itself is fantastic, you can dim it down & take pictures of make up & it also comes with a carry case which is great for takingvit from one place or the other. Daughter over the moon with it. - I emailed the sellers to confirm if Stand came before buying it but I didn't get a reply but glad I took a chance as it's worth the money.

Okay so...the ringlight itself- perfection. Brightness comes with a wide variety which is great. Lightweight but not cheap feeling.I bought this for streaming and makeup and it does what I need it to perfectly.My only complaint (which isn’t even bad) is the stand that comes with it is more of a production stand. It’s heavy duty and more like for a high production show rather than what I need it for.So I ended up attaching the ringlight to my wall with zip ties and a hook and it’s stayed ever since.Like I said- the stand just wasn’t what I needed but if you’re looking for high production value and we’ll as have a large space then it’ll be perfect.Ringlight itself. No complaints- does what I need it too and covers enough space.

I definitely recommend this ring light , it has been the perfect one for me ! (especially coming from a very small one to a big bright one ) It is very big , very bright , and very sturdy ! (again if you are the type of person that likes to take pictures , take selfies , and likes photography , etc ! I definitely recommend this ring light is for you ! (It may be very expensive , but it really is worth the price !

Does everything expected of it, very easy to use with a great range of brightness options due to the dimmer. It is a pit top-heavy so doesn't suit much versatility for standing up, but works well as a filming and photography light, with good options for a camera/phone adapter.The ring is actually quite a bit bigger than I thought as I just needed a DSLR camera to sit in the middle. I would say if you're looking to use a photography camera or smart phone, the smaller version of the ring may be more suited, however this would work well with a high-end digital film camera. I think it would be nice if the company developed different filters for this, although I appreciate that this comes with two colour/tone options.

Why did you choose this product over others?:This is the second Neewer ring light I've purchased. First one died just after a year...just stopped working. Second one lasted just a couple more years, same thing, switch just started turning, light flickered, light went out. I must point out that this light is only used a few times a week as I work part time. Ive also had problems with tilting ring light down....would slip, not hold position. For what you pay, total crap/junk. Should last longer, but things are made out of complete junk now. I will not be buying a third Neewer ring light. Done with this company, product. Great when it works, but having to buy a new light every year, come on!! Do better.
