100 Tricks to Appear Smart In Meetings

Absolutely hilarious! For example, say "Guys, guys, guys, can we take a step back here? What problem are we really trying to solve?". What makes it so funny is that the tips are clearly just gimmicky and lacking any real meaning, but at the same time you can easily imagine that they would be used in real meetings. Really clever!It's a short little book, with one tip and an illustration per page, almost like a cartoon. I read through it in an hour and a half, laughing out aloud many times. Would be a great gift for anybody working in an office.

Perfect Xmas or B'day book for people who do work meetings. Very funny. The reader will recognize a lot and may well learn a few things too. Cheap at the price and easy just to dip into when you're bored and need a pick up.

This is a great book - it's in the 'humour' section, but actually a lot of the tips in it have some basis in actual psychology (the trick is to know which ones are just fun, and which ones actually have some basis in science, of course). I'm pretty sure anyone who's been to a few big company meetings will have seen a good few of these in action. It's a very easy read and written in a sort of tongue-in-cheek tone. I'd recommend, but I'm not sure... does it scale?

Very funny!! Bought this book as a small gift for a family member, had a little read and couldn't put it down hilariously funny adult humour.

If you need to attend or facilitate meetings, this is the book to get! A very entertaining read with many useful tips embedded. I have already used some of the recommended pointers to look smarter, such as the shapes in presentations and reports. They were very well received. It is good to identify the meeting strategies which Senior Managers use. The only problem will be when all the people at the meeting have read the book, until then I continue to look smarter within my role!

Really funny book that anyone who is involved in meetings can relate to! I brought this for my mum for Mother's Day she is looking to retire next year and was just in fits of giggles reading it! You can just pick it up and read a selection as and when so convinient for a quick pick me up after a hard day on the office ... I'm going to drop massive hints to my husband to get it me for My birthday!

Wasn't sure if this was supposed to be funny or not but it made me laugh. Was a good Secret Santa gift for a colleague.

Everyone who has worked in an office can relate to the scenarios in this book. It is a hilarious gift for your coworker or boss! I gave a copy to my sister who is an attorney, and she was laughing so hard tears ran down her cheeks!
