Leather Waistcoat in Black Opie

This is such a well made top quality item definitely usable for riding as well as just for the look of it.The sizing does run about 1 size small. If you look on the skintan website you will see their size guys says, for example, that XL is up to 44" chest where ordinarily XL is up to 46" chest so I suggest you order 1 size up for a standard fit.The leather is nice and thick, has a great quality smell to it and good weight. It is by no means a flimsy item.The YKK zipper runs smooth as you'd expect and all button pops fit easily but securely.If you order higher sizes to accommodate the item being worn over a thick hoodie or another jacket then you can make good use of the tabs at either side of the hips which allow you to tighten it up a good 4 inches around the lower section to keep it snug.The inside pocket is brilliant. It fastens with a popper and is angled for easy access and has plenty of room. The material of pocket itself is nice and thick giving confidence that it won't wear out if you keep keys in it.Overall it's an excellent product well worth the money and it's even around £15 to £20 cheaper than buying direct from skintan (at the time of writing)As well as this Opie cut I have also owned the Jax version for around 10 years and it's still in excellent condition so these things are built to last

Nice Cut, fortunately I have had one similar before so I knew what size to order, some reviews state order normal size, I however take a xxl t shirt, but need a 6xl cut (54inch chest) just pointing that out..Otherwise really impressed 👍🏻

This is a well made waistcoat using quality leather. When the weather is warm a leather waistcoat offers the protection of a leather jacket but with more air circulation around your body. I am a 46" chest so I ordered the 2XL, perfect fit.

What a fantastic cut this is. Comfortable, and has more pockets than I thought it would. A number of people have asked where I got it from. Definite head turner especially with the patches I've had sewn on. Again, fantastic item and should I need another, I know where I will be getting it from.
