I used my sewing machine & added them to the bottom edge of my outdoor mesh screen for my porch. They sewed in place beautifully with the machine. These special neodymium magnets are really super strong also. They keep their magnetism. I plan on putting a cheap roll magnetic tape across the edge of my porch & viola no mosquitoes, love bugs, flies, wasps, bees, or lizards(for the most part). They were perfectly as advertised.

I bought them as a woodworking craft closure, so I had to cut the sew-on plastic off. They are very strong for their size and hold well even if only the thin edges are touching. For sew in purposes, I would recommend heavy stitching (almost to embroider) and heavier duty fabric, otherwise you're likely to wear out or rip the fabric getting these apart.

Easy to sew in & work as expected

This rectangular shape, as compared to a round or square magnet uses less space in a purse that doesn’t have zipper. Can use just one in smaller widths, or 2 in wider.

These work exactly as they’re supposed to and did their job.
