Was just ok- for the price- it was kind of flimsy- returned

This thing is badass, the touchless lid is super cool. The only thing I was bummed about is that the bin is plastic. Nowhere in the description, that I saw, did it say the actual bin is made of plastic. I wanted a metal bin, but oh well. It’s sleek, it’s sharp, it’s quiet. I can live with it.

When the time came to replace my old grungy garbage can, I decided I wanted something with the auto open/close feature. Searching Amazon, I wasn’t surprised to find a whole bunch of different sizes, shapes and costs but I settled on this one because of the color and the rectangle size would fit better in my kitchen space. The canister is the most solid I’ve seen on any garbage can in a while. It doesn’t have any ventilation air holes so when you place in a new bag, work out the air and you’ll be good to go. My 13 gal bags fits perfectly, tight around the edges and there’s no need to roll the edge into a ball to keep the bag in place. The sensor can be a little touchy if I get too close but I’m still learning it’s quirks. It’s not the most expensive can out there but it does exactly what it should without issue. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Will it open? 1 out 7 times maybe. Is it sturdy? There's this flimsy insert that holds up the lid that is support by a millimter of raised plastic. It's crazy. Not really an issue for most people, but the green light is so bright that flashes when it opens, not great for a baby room. It's cheap for a reason.

I have been on the hunt for a cute and reliable touch-less sensor trashcan and I love this one! It was very easy to set up and is the perfect size for the kitchen. The color/style is beautiful, clean and modern. The sensor works great. This is a fantastic product for the price point, especially compared to how expensive automatic trashcans can be! It is also very easy to clean. I just use a magic eraser to clean the inside/outside. It is battery operated. I've had it for a few months and have not had to change the battery yet!

I debated over going for this less expensive brand for the more popular brand. It would work better for an office or someplace that didn’t heavy usage. The cheap batteries they send last two weeks and are pretty much worthless. I wish the motor to lift was a tiny. It more powerful because the delay to open is slightly annoying but a definite first world problem. I’d order again for a garage, guest bathroom or office but would go for the more expensive one for the kitchen.

Love that this is hands free and easy for our kids to use! Would buy again!

Battery dies VERY quickly. Also the sensor is too sensitive. It opens whenever someone walks by. Very annoying. Arrived missing a small soft-close pad on the rim and instead of sending me the part they wanted me to return the whole thing and they would send me a new unit. I don't want to be wasteful-the customer service agent told me the whole thing would be discarded if I returned it. There is nothing wrong with it other than the missing piece so I just kept it. Seems strange they wouldn't stock replacement parts. Wouldn't buy again.
