Lovely moisturising cream, very thick but the smell isn't that pleasant.

I have had eczema since I was an early teenager and I have tried every product under the sun to try and rid the rashes and redness associated with it. I have tried everything my GP had to offer; from steroid cream, medical type emollients - creams, shower gels and bath soaks and to be honest they’ve never done much for me. They have at times provided some relief but it has been very temporary and the eczema returns to full force the second I stop using it excessively and constantly. I have also tried things like lush’s dream cream and random products here and there and again they didn’t even make a dent in my eczema. I happened to find myself researching for new things to try as I recently had a worse than normal flare-up which I attribute to the heatwave we’re currently having in the UK and severe hayfever as they are supposedly all linked. I came across this product and I thought I’d give it a shot but I had zero expectation as I’ve tried many products that claim to help and never did anything. It arrived and I applied it straight away. It can be melted down to an oil which makes it easier to apply but I find this too much hassle. I just want to use it as soon as I feel like it so I scoop it out and rub it hard between my hands and it melts down quickly but due to its thickness - it isn’t easy to spread and you need to rub hard to really work it into the skin. But I can forgive this as I kid you not, after the first application to all the spots affected by eczema, I woke up the next morning and my eczema had pretty much vanished. Some of the more angry patches were still ever so faintly red but after a second application...gone! I have been using this daily now for over a week and all my eczema is gone and completely under control. I have also been using it on my face and I’ve actually had compliments from a few people on how nice and healthy my skin looked. I also love that it’s a natural sunscreen as I’m also a redhead which makes it the perfect product for me. I read some of the reviews which complained of the smell but I find the smell to be very faint and it’s not a bad smell. It’s just not like all these highly scented and fragranced commercial products you find in most shops, which I personally associate with being an irritant so when a product smells strong. I tend to avoid it. This product is a god send for people with eczema. I’m telling you now - buy this if you suffer with it and you will not be disappointed. My skin hasn’t felt this good in a few years. It ticks all the boxes and has additional benefits outside of just eczema which no medical type or commercial product will ever do. I plan on buying a lot more soon.

I have been using this product for about a week now and really love it. Since this is a natural product, it comes solid. When I scoop some out and rub between my palms, the the product just melts into a nice creamy oil type texture. Was a little difficult to apply on dry skin, so I tried on wet skin and still was a little difficult. I managed to apply it with light strokes and it worked well. I use it for my dry working hands and there is never oily residue after a few minutes and it sinks in to the skin leaving me with nourished skin. Smells very natural which I really like. I love that I am using a nice natural good quality product and use it on my son too. Leaves skin smooth and moisturised. I have used it on my face at times and my skin feels smooth.

I've been using this as a moisturiser for my arms for a couple of months now and it's amazing. My skin feels more smooth than it ever has. I was hesitant about this product at the beginning because the surface layer was a bit of a grainy texture and hard to spread, and it was hard to disconnect the smell with food - I felt a bit weird for a couple of weeks thinking I smelt of food - lol - but I'd definitely recommend as a moisturiser. I use a lighter, more watery moisturiser first then this on top and I find this helps it to spread and absorb better but I wouldn't say that's essential. I had been using the body shop shea butter before this but I found that had a tendency to sit above the skin a bit, not completely absorbing and so getting little bits of clothing fibres on it and feeling a bit cloggy/heavy. In contrast, this absorbs very nicely, just needs a little bit of time and don't use too much. It's also easier to spread now (spring) than it was in winter (since it's a lot warmer now). I could see how this would be nice to use for food too - I like being able to use is as a lib balm that's completely inoffensive to the tongue and body. Might be too heavy duty for the face unless you make your own cream. Overall, very good :)

The shea butter is fantastic, keeps skin moisturised and clears nappy rash in less than 12hrs. Raw, organic and vegan - what more could you ask for? Keep the shea butter the same & same weight but replace with a sustainable packaging, such as tin, and keep the price the same - this would be a 5* review no issues!

Ordinato il 18 e arrivato oggi, perfettamente imballato. La confezione come già detto da molti è di plastica dura e senza "pellicola" protettiva (mi chiedo perché non la mettano), nonostante questo il prodotto è perfetto e non ha nessun problema. Ho voluto subito provarlo, non è il mio primo burro di karité ma è primo di questo brand, devo dire che ad una prima prova è ottimo sia come consistenza che come facilità di stesura. Il colore è il classico colore del burro non raffinato (avorio/ beige/giallo tenue) così il suo odore; qui bisognerebbe fare una nota a parte, leggo di molti che lo trovano un odore orribile, sarà che gli odori e i profumi sono soggettivi ma per me il suo odore non è per nulla sgradevole, anzi lo trovo piacevole e mi ricorda la terra bagnata dopo un bel temporale o per chi ha assaggiato il Pu-Erh tea (Twinings) ricorda molto il profumo di quel tea, ad ogni modo una volta steso il suo odore scompare molto rapidamente. Leggo molti che pretendono una stesura facile o addirittura preferiscono una crema con additivi (sí mi è capitato di leggerlo), ragazzi/e prima di acquistare "perché fa moda" bisognerebbe informarsi un po'. Questo burro di karité è un burro naturale non è trattato chimicamente e quindi bisogna valutare e capire se fa al caso vostro o meno. È troppo duro da stendere? Ci sono tanti metodi per renderlo più "malleabile" dallo scaldarlo con la mano, a bagnomaria, miscelarlo con oli e/o burri (specie in inverno montato con le fruste elettriche ci si può fare una mousse per il corpo in 10minuti che rimarrà morbida) e aggiungendo degli oli essenziali o essenze scompare il "terribile" odore, insomma basterebbe informarsi prima di dire non funziona. Ogni tipo di pelle è diversa, vero, ma la maggior parte di chi si lamenta sembra che non sappia nemmeno cosa abbia acquistato. Per chi chiede dell'INCI, l'unico ingrediente è il Butyrospermum parkii ed ovviamente non contiene additivi o altre sostanze.

Llevo comprandolo un par de años y muy satisfecho con la crema, tiene una hidratación profunda para piel y cabello, sirve para todo tipo de piel porque no tiene aditivos me encanta su formula porque repara zonas secas, irritadas o dañadas, me deja la piel suave y elástica.​ Tiene proteción UV natural y se absorbe rápidamente al derretirse con el calor de las manos. Perfecto para la cara, cuerpo, cabello y post-afeitado, tiene olor neutro y resultados visibles en elasticidad y nutrición.

Für Haare: etwas in die Spitzen einarbeiten, als Leave-in-Conditioner oder vor dem Schlafengehen als Haarmaske. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Unraffinierte Sheabutter hat oft einen höheren Preis, bietet dafür aber intensivere Pflege und natürliche Inhaltsstoffe. Diese Scheabutter ist preislich gut zu kaufen. Fazit: Eine vielseitige, hautfreundliche Pflegequelle, ideal für trockene Hauttypen und empfindliche Haut. Sehr empfehlenswert als Allround-Pflegeprodukt – natürlich, vielseitig einsetzbar und effektiv. Hinweis: Achte auf 100% reine, möglichst unbehandelte Shea-Butter (ggf. kaltgepresst/unraffiniert) und prüfe eventuelle Zusatzstoffe oder Allergien (Nüsse/Shea-Lipide).
