Plasti-kote APT0737-APE Can Gun with Trigger PKT6506

I ordered this due to weak hands and fingers. While it does make spraying easier, for the average person, for me personally it still put to much strain due to the small trigger which is finger operated. i have since ordered one which accommodates all my fingers and not just one. However this was my mistake and a learning curve as im knew to ordering aids to help with my problematic hands.

Perfect for the DIYer. Allows far greater control. Clips on easily. Apply the force gradually when pushing it on to the can. Likewise with removing it. You can rotate the gun on the can if you haven't quite lined up the opening in the gun with the aerosol nozzle, and there is a little mark on the opening to allow you to line up the can nozzle more easily.The trigger is sensitive without being too sensitive. Allows for a smoother spraying action than with just the can.A couple of practices and you'll soon be adjusted to the weight of the trigger and amount of pressure to apply.Still shake the can by holding the body of the can, and not by holding the gun. Obvious I know, but it's still worth mentioning.

I really wish I'd have gotten one of these sooner!!I work a lot with cans of spray paint and clear coat and was pretty sick of sore fingers and having paint covered hands, so this seemed like a good idea!The gun attaches to the top of the can around the neck, I don't use plasti-kote paints myself, I prefer Fosco military grade and I have to say the gun fits the Fosco cans pretty well, bit tight but rather too tight than falling off!The gun itself is a simple spring loaded arm, so there is no need to dismantle the can's top or add attachments. You pull the trigger and the arm sprays the can for you! It's really that simple!! :)

This makes spraying with a rattle can much easier. The trigger keeps constant pressure on the nozzle and stops blobs. It is hard to keep constant pressure with just your finger and if you relax the pressure you get blobs.DO NOT shake the can using the trigger AND MAKE SURE the nozzle is facing forward when you start to spray as the handle can rotate around the neck.

Fit for purpose.

I was sceptical about how much of a difference this was going to make, however happy to report that it is money well spent! The trigger gives you way more control than I'd expected which allows you to focus on making a nice even coating which is what we want...I used this to spray a piece of trim for my car using primer, base and clear coat - it took time but I'm really pleased with the results and I'm confident without the trigger it wouldn't look anywhere near as good. If you're undertaking a spray job yourself I highly recommend buying one of these to try.

Useful add-on to any Plasticote paint or other spraycans. As the paint, varnish etc is not passed through the grip but uses the originalm nozzle, there is no need to clean it after every use and it can be transferred from one colour or finish to any other within moments.It is a tight fit on the cans, and more difficult to install than to remove but makes the use of the cans of paint or varnish to be used far more comfortably and with greater control than when used without..

Makes using a spray can do much easier and controlable
