Review: The best entry in the series! - Sun and Moon are a refreshing addition to an old title, without a doubt they are the best within the whole game series. There are lots of new or tweaked features in S&M that have made the game alot tougher and more enjoyable. For starters the new pokemon introduced in S&M seem alot more... "interesting and just more" than those introduced in previous titles like X&Y and B&W, also the layout and areas which you catch certain things like the "baby" pokemon seem to make the game far more interesting. The longevity of the game also seems alot better than previous versions as the game itself seems tougher, this could be because i never liked the idea of "Z moves" as i never liked Mego-Evo in X&Y, without these distinct advantages or the usage of the Demo gift, the whole game lasted far longer than previous titles. The new gym replacement "Island trials" at first, seem like a easier and less challenging replacement as you only take on 1 Specific Pokemon and whatever that calls for help, but this actually is far more difficult and more interesting due to its vastly increased statistics. Also details on training specific pokemon has become alot easier to understand over previous games which allows you to find and train pokemon with more potential alot easier. Also the lack (so far as of Jan 2017) of a National Pokedex is not implemented, which may seem as a bad thing, worked out as a better factor of the game, there are 301 / 800+ available pokemon so you are hardly limited for choice, but there are more reasonable trade offers in game rather than past games where players wanted the "1 and only" pokemon in exchange for a thing they caught at the start of the game. Though it is the best game in the series in my opinion, there are a few things that i do have to point out are rather negative aspects, first and formost, the game still includes mega-evolution which was a rather disliked feature by alot of players, though this is a end game aspect, with little bearing to overall gameplay, also it is not forced upon you like X&Y / OR&AS, so it is not a major problem. The main other complaint i have is that the online interactions (battles / trades) are alot more of a bother to access (you have to access a seperate area to access those features) than in X&Y which was accessable at any place and at any time, making it less desirable to participate in these. Overall though both S&M are brilliant games and any fan to the series, be it 20 years ago or just recently should definatly try these games.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you play on a DS lite**
A: The Nintendo DS lite is not supported for some years. So you will not be able to play Pokemon Sun/Moon on the Nintendo DS (lite or not).If you want to play this game you'll need to get a console of the "Nintendo 3DS Family", this includes Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 2DS, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. If you want a cheap and durable one go to the Nintendo 2DS. If the difference of prices it's not relevant for you go to a New Nintendo 3DS ou New Nintendo 3DS XL.I also would love to play this game on my Nintendo DSi XL. But the hardware it's not strong enough.

**Q: Hmm sun or moon? psychic ghost or psychic steel?**
A: The main difference between the two versions is that there is a 12-hour difference in the in-game clocks. So when it's daytime in Pokemon Sun it's night time in Pokemon Moon and vice versa. It comes down to your personal preference really.There are also few Pokemon that can only be found in Pokemon Sun, and some that can only be found in Pokemon Moon. However these 'version exclusive' Pokemon can easily be obtained by using the in-game GTS (Global Trade System, Wi-Fi connected) so unless you can't connect your DS to the internet, I'd say don't let 'version exclusive' Pokemon influence your decision.See http://www.serebii.net/sunmoon/exclusives.shtml and http://www.serebii.net/sunmoon/versionmisc.shtml for more details.If you're unsure it's probably best to wait until after the games are released as there will be more specific details available then.

**Q: Help whats the difference between sun snd moon games are they different ones , I know nothing about games are for grandson?which one should I buy?**
A: Pokémon Sun and Moon are essentially the same game other than a few small differences which, by the way, can be bypassed by trading with other owners of the game. The main differences are;

A) The title of the game which makes no difference at all other than which you like the look of more- Sun or Moon.

B) The legendaries: Solgaleo and Lunala which are available in Sun and Moon respectively (you get Solgaleo in Sun and Lunala in Moon). Solgaleo is a Psychic and Steel type and Lunala is a Psychic and Ghost type. Meaning that once again it is all up to looks and individual typings.

C) Both games will offer four or five Pokémon that are "exclusive" to each version. As of writing this response it is not confirmed what "exclusive" Pokémon will be available in each version. However, my earlier use of "exclusive" was referring to the fact that these Pokémon can easily be obtained via their counterparts by trading between one another. So there's no reason to worry about not being able to catch 'em all!

I hope this answer helps you in deciding on your purchase, whether it ends up being Sun or Moon. And if you haven't already ask your Grandson, I'm sure he has a preference!

**Q: If my daughter has the Sun game ,can she connect to her friends moon game ? or do they both have to have the same game to connect with each other???**
A: Yes, you can connect Pokemon Sun to Pokemon Moon. Pokemon games that have the same release date always have this feature.
