I’ve not been able to find sun dried tomato paste at my local shops in ages so in desperation I checked amazon. Result! Good strong flavour, sweet and slightly herby with a little rabbit kick of garlic. Brings out all the flavours in my cooking so much better.

... less than you order but the product is very good well packed and in very strong tubes
not exactly what it says in the advert the tubes are in fact "56 grams" therefore in a pack of 12 you receive 48 grams less than you orderbut the product is very good well packed and in very strong tubes. I will be ordering again hope I get 60 gram tubes

There is not a single dish that this puree cannot improve! (except maybe puddings?)
Absolutely great stuff with so many uses. I was coming to the end of my last buy of Patum Peperium and kind of shuddered at todays prices so I went for this.Well, I enjoy it just as much as the old Gentleman's Relish providing there is plenty of butter on my toast before adding the wee dab of Epicure's Anchovy Puree. And as I move on to my second slie of toast I can increase the puree with no bother. I love it!I also enjoy cold Ratatouille straight out of the can into a serving dish and the addition of a squirt of this puree improves it no end.Have you ever tried Aubergine Meze available from Amazon UK? Well, when you open the jar, first smell the Aubergines, then lightly skim your bread (whatever) with this anchovy puree and dip it into that Meze! You might faint with utter taste raptures! And, when grilling your cheese on toast, a smear of this puree moves it to ambrosia levels. *AND*, did I tell you, when youn are making your cheapo fishcakes with whatever you have to hand in the way of fish and tatties, a quick squirt of this will make TV chefs jealous. It's cheap (for a pack of 12), it's handy - squirt it into meat dishes also! - and I would not be without it. (And if you read my review of Conimex Sambal Manis bought via Amazon UK, I also squirt this into my Nasi Goreng when I have no dried shrimps to use!)Anchovies for ever!

Versatile and tasty
Very good value for money. Anchovies are really a very adaptable addition to many recipes. I bought this paste for the intense flavour, and I wasn't disappointed. I love this in sandwiches to pep up the taste. On toast or as a base layer on the French pissaladiere with black olive paste.Value for money buying in the larger quantity.

An extremely tasty paste - a perfect replacement for Sainsbury's discontinued Admiral anchovy paste
I bought two of these because Sainsbury's no longer sell Admiral anchovy paste to which I am addicted! They have stopped selling any anchovy paste. This has a diffenet name but appears to be identical to Admiral paste - it is splendid stuff. It goes in soups, on bread and although it is remarkably cheap it has the taste of paste several times its cost. Perfect!

Epicure = Sainsbury's Admiral Puree in a different box
Probably like many others, I'm here because Sainsbury's stopped selling Admiral Anchovy Paste last year. 12 packs with 15 months use by date. Now it says Epicure on the box but the familiar old Admiral blue tube of puree is inside. I'll say this is the same stuff... it certainly tastes the same and.... yum... I'm going to have some on buttered toast right now.

OK Product
Couldn’t get the tinned anchovies, got these instead, not quite as poky a flavour but useful to have, quite nice on toast though.
