Q: Could an adult use these scissors comfortably? The finger holes look a bit small?

Hi I have used the scissors for classes of adults and although only able to cut paper and make small cuts are comfortable to hold. Many of my clients have arthritis so find difficulty holding things. The scissors were very good value.

Q: Will these scissors cut cotton thread?

I didn’t try them, but they are sold as school scissors, so I bought them to go in girls’ sewing kits. I would expect them to cut thread and possibly thin cloth. They did not look like the scissors that you would buy for infants.

Q: Are any left handed scissors or are they all right handed?

I am left-handed, and I use these great scissors for everything I do (including embroidery) with no problems at all because they are very light and also very sharp. My best buy ever.

Q: Are the ends pointy or rounded?

The ends are rounded. This feature should have been shown by the manufacturer in a thumbnail picture on the Amazon page.
