Seems to work!
I wasn't sure this was going to make it for some garden cushions that tend to get soaked when it rains, but it seems to have done so.I got a hanging chair with big cushions that are made of water resistant materials (I think it's mostly thick polyester) and they seem to repel a little bit of water but when it rains for 3-4 hours, even if it's light rain they end up soaked and then, maybe due to them being water resistant, takes ages to dry out. So basically if it rains during the night, which in the UK happens a lot, don't expect to use the chair the next day, which really sucks.I tried this on the small head rest cushion and a bit on the big one, applied two very generous layers of the spray and let it dry for 3-4 days (just to make sure). I tried it on my sink and it repelled all water but again, the materials could do this on their own given it's just a bit of water. But this night it was raining and I went to the garden to check how wet they were, obviously the entire chair was wet all around but when pressing on the cushions they seemed to be dry on the inside. On waking up this morning I checked again and contrary to how it used to be (could take a whole day to dry) it was already dry.The big one was a bit more humid as I ran out of spray when spraying it and could only cover most of it, but not all, still that most of it did clearly do something as it was much drier than it would have been usually.I don't know how often this "treatment" needs to be applied, but hopefully it's just once a year or every 6 months. If so, it really is a wonder and a much cheaper option than adding a pergola to protect the chair.

Waterproofed a very old tent..
Waterproofed a rather porous thirty year old tent with no issue and has survived several downpours as well as a proper hosing (to test it initially). After spraying, it dried off within a few hours.

happy
I bought this to spray on to a set of canvas wall pictures for the bathroom as the previous picture was damaged by water from the shower. It was a bit of a risky choice because the spray could have caused damage to the picture, but it didn't. The spray goes on easily and efficiently and creates a matt plastic surface, exactly what I needed, it dries quite quickly and I applied several layers to the pictures. I'm very pleased with the results as a couple of months later the pictures are fine.

works well
I bought this to cover my motorcycle gear ready for when I took part in the RBLR 1000 mile ride and lucky i did. I gave my textile jacket, leather boots and leather gloves a good coating about 2 days before the ride and it was completely dry when I left. We set off on the ride at 5 am and about an hour after we started the heavens opened in a torrential downpour and did so for about 17 of the 24 hours we were riding. when we had finished and got back to the hotel the clothes I had on under my gear was bone dry. I have also been able to cover my other half's dog walking coat. Will definitely be buying another before next years ride to give it a top up.

Spray water proof
Good value only gave 4 stars as not yet tested in rain. Will update review then. A couple of comments said no good, I think that’s because you need to shake the can well to mix the product. I would recommend.
