Disclosing Tablets ~ Set of 40 ~ Two Tone Plaqsearch Chews Shows Plaque on Teeth

Bought these as a recommendation for my teen by his dentist. They do what they say - they disclose where he has missed on his teeth, but where he was having problems due to overcrowding - the whole area went purple. It didn't look good, but they really did show up where he needed to clean more. (Saying that the 3 baby teeth causing the problem which were wobbly have now all gone). So hoping with his mouth freed up of the those teeth who didn't want to stay, this will continue to let us know where he needs to improve on his dental hygene.They are the same as the initial pack we were given by the dentist. It's a good sized pack, better than the smaller ones you get from the chemist and so will last a while longer, or if you have more children. Also can be used by the grown ups to help with their dental routine or for demonstration...One caution is if left lying around and there is water, it may get in, or maybe it was just the odd one for us that had got torn when my son was separating them. I found purple dye spilling all over the tiles and it STAINS the grout.... plus can make a mess of the sink. On a positive note, the dye is plant based and not synthetic and will clean off the sink, (but not the grout - well I've not got it off, although the colour has faded to more of a pink not the dark purple).Over all a good product, price wise much better to buy a bigger pack, worked out about half the price of smaller shop available packs.

Super product to highlight the plaque on my daughter’s teeth, so she can clean and not miss parts that the dentist has informed us she is missing . Colour can be brush away , without leaving stains, great taste , ideal for children , does stains the tongue but it does fade away . Would purchase again.

I get these frequently for both my son and myself and they’re great. I wish they took a bit more to brush off the teeth as you can literally rinse it off really however takes quite a bit to get off your tongue. I do like how there’s the two colour stains, one for older plaque and one for newer. Great way to tell if your kids have brushed properly! Highly recommended.

Does the job, excellent for the kids and myself!

Was advised to get these from the dentist for my kids. Whilst they work, they are a pain to get out of the packaging!

I bought these for my kids to try (of course I tried them too!) and they have worked so well.One of my kids in particular really doesn’t brush well due to sensory issues, and this was just the boost of encouragement he needed. He actually said he was ashamed of himself when he seen how bad his teeth came up, but he rose to the challenge and got it all off. When he used another tablet later that day his teeth didn’t look as bad and again he tried really hard to clean his teeth.These are really simple to use and have a nice bubblegum taste. Just crush with your teeth and then swirl around your mouth. Make sure to carefully spit out the leftovers and then take a look in the mirror. I felt like the light purple was more recent plaque and the dark purple was older plaque.

I remember when I was a kid that the dentist came to our school and showed us all where the plaque was on our teeth by making use of the disclosure tablets, I therefore thought I’d try the same trick with my son and it’s been working brilliantly. He’s become a lot better and cleaning all the bits of his teeth rather than just the cursory brush he normally does. Good value for money and an effective teaching tool - only downside is you have to give the sink a really good clean down to make sure it doesn’t stain after.
