Safety Skin® Reflective Spread

This product is PERFECT for anyone who spends some of their time near roads in the early morning or evening. As a runner I often need to get my workout in early before work, and I don't love wearing lots of reflective layers -- they usually don't stay in place for me, and I get annoyed by the extra fabric/weight of lights. SafetySkin does everything I need, without the added weight! It applies just like a deoderant stick, and is SO BRIGHT when lights hit it. Plus, it stays put with sweat BUT comes of so easily with soap and water (last image was after a sweaty run). This would be great for everyone -- including runners, cyclists, construction workers, walkers, you name it!You can see the before image - it's hardly noticeable on my skin. But when the flash of my camera hit the SafetySkin, it lights up so bright! I have it on my hand and my forearm in the photos. So so cool! I'm buying one as stocking stuffers for my siblings (cyclists) to keep them safe. The product came quickly, too! Definitely a permanent customer!

I bought this as a gift for my husband. Most weeknights he goes out for a run after our toddler goes to bed when it's dark (especially during the winter). We live in SoCal so he's not wearing full pants with the reflective material sewn in and it's hard to find good shorter options (which is what he was originally looking for). The safety skin is quick and easy to apply and washes off when he showers. It provides good visibility to keep him safer while running in the dark. We're really glad we found this product and my husband has been recommending it to all of his running/biking friends.

The product works well, but it's so small you'll probably only get to used it three or four times tops. It looks like a tiny deodorant and makes me laugh.

First of all, it works and it works well. You gotta be sure to warm it up a bit because the wax goes on better that way. I just stick it in my armpit for a few minutes and the body heat does the job. Then it goes on pretty easy with a bit of pressure. I've done a few swipes and I've also gone overboard. Sometimes little wax crumbs fall off as you're applying it and it lands elsewhere on your clothes/body which makes you look some fairy came along and sprinkled you with a bit of glow dust, that or a glowstick exploded nearby. So it's not always a nice clean stripe, but it is highly reflective and I feel so much safer (all though ridiculous looking) going on night or early morning runs around my apartment which is at the corner of the intersection of two highways. It washes off easy with soap and water and comes off clothes in the laundry. I haven't seen any issues with staining or skin irritation. I plan to buy another when this one runs out. It's a little smaller than expected (like a travel sized deodorant stick) but it lasts a while in my opinion. You don't need to put it on every inch of you or anything.

I WAS very skeptical about a product like this, thought it might not be bright enough or feels sticky on my skin.Glad to be wrong.It was bright! You can rest assured that you will be very noticeable with this on your skin.Doesn't feel oily or sticky on your skin either. It feels more like a powder that is easy to remove but stays well enough on your skin too.Originally I had an issue with the shipment. The seller shipped it promptly. But it seems COVID hit the local USPS very hard, causing a delay. Contacted the seller, who sent me a replacement the next day and keep following up the shipment updates with the local USPS. It wasn't a big deal to me. Now is a tough time for everyone. But apparently, the seller takes their customers very seriously.I have to say the seller really cares about their customers. That is why I love small businesses like this.I am a big fan. Recommending to all my runners.

The media could not be loaded. This stuff is the bees knees. I hate wearing a reflective vest when it's hot, and when I dont end up needing it. Which resulted in a lot of runs when I went longer than planned and ended up in the dark with nothing reflective.This is the perfect solution. If I think I might have a chance of running during dusk, I swipe on some of this. I ended up running in very dark a week ago and called for a ride, and my friend could see me from half a mile away. And having odd, irregular patterns make people slow down more than a runner. (People see a runner and don't slow down because they're rude. People see weird glowing lines moving and they don't know what they're looking at, and they slow down.)My only note is that it's not like deoderant- its dry and draws on more like chalk than gel or paint.

Material is completely dehydrated (probably do to age) so it’s inapplicable. When pressed against skin it breaks of pieces due to how brittle it’s become. Additionally the package came in mangled tho this probably has no effect on condition of the reflective material! A absolute shame because this product actually seems to be the most reflective out of all the similar products I’ve tried !!!!!

am so disappointed in this product! I ordered it for our kids for Halloween and for my husband who is a triathletes. It does not go on easily, does not make a thick ribbon along the limbs, was not reflective and we couldn’t use it on our kids tonight. Here is a picture of what it looked like after multiple applications. This is a small container and was expensive. I am so upset this did not work to protect our kids and won’t work for my husband as he trains. This product did not work as advertised. Don’t waste your money.
