Perfect look and quality!
Out of the box, the quality of this drain is immediately evident.Nicely painted metal, it's a solid unit and very sleek in its design. The paint is multiple layers also- light objects in contact causing scratches did not expose metal.The fittings are also very well milled- it's a very tight fit with no signs of leakage after a few weeks of use.The trap at the bottom is a tight fit- if you did need to clean it out, it's not easy to open but it's water tight which is the better priority.Unlike traditional s drains, this one works with 2 different sizes of plastic. The slim one goes 3/4 down the body and rests above a cup like piece above the trap door. The water fills the 'cup' and flows over into the drain keeping water and games from finding their way up.Keep in mind this is for bathroom sink fittings and will not work for larger drains like that for a kitchen sink! Additionally, the drain itself will not hold much for waste- so hair or grime will fill up quicker than your standard plastic s style- however the ease of cleaning with this one is much better and simple!Overall, it comes in a bit pricey for a drain but, for an exposed sink and a wayyyy better appearance than cheap plastic, only you can determine the value here! For me, I highly recommend!

Decorative Drain
So this drain looks great from a far and in pictures. Even up close it looks like just what you would want to be part of a very nice open sink design. My only disappointment with it is that the long tube that comes with it feels very cheap. The rest of the assembly seems solid and I will have to wait to be installed to see if there are any further issues. I have installed enough of these to judge the quality based upon the look and feel. As I said the only cause for concern is that one pipe other than that I am happy with the product.

Had to mix and match with old parts to fix my water leakage problem. Works well now.
