Portable Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Speakers - August MS515 - Two Unit Stereo Set for Laptops / Smartphone / Tablet with iOS and Android App - Rechargeable Speaker

Received it today. Well packaged. First impressions was that they are small and that i would be disappointed but i am not!They feel and look nice. They come with usb charging cable , 2 LR connection cables (1.5 m and 3 m) to hook up bothspeakers and audio in cable. Both have on of switch and micro usb charging port. main speaker (left one) has audio in to connect directly from a audio source by cable. It has a rocker switch to be pressed for pairing, to adjust volume and to go next/previous song if your devices supports this blue tooth feature. I use it with my samsung tablet s2 and the bluetooth pairing went without a problem. It asks for passcode to enter but ignore this and press ok and it will be paired. Selected Hotel California (what else of course) and here is it where i became pleasantly surprised of the sound quality and volume it is pumping out. More then adequate for the sleeping room, bathroom, kitchen or by the pool. The stereo spatial effect is much better then other BT speakers which have both left and right speakers placed in one unit. I use it mainly for watching netflix on my projector in my sleeping room and put the speakers below the screen while the s2 is hooked up to the projector using MHL and BT to connect to these nice speakers. Highs are crisp, mids are very clear and the bass is more then acceptable but not as strong as bigger and more expensive systems like JBL flip2 or Sony sr series or the Bose Bt speakers. But for the price i am very happy i bought them. If you really need top notch sound stage with bass then find something more expensive and bigger. If you need something good looking, small form factor, real stereo separated Left and Right speakers (2x5W!, cable is needed in between) for real stereo for a fair purchase price i recommend this one.

This is SO much better than having a single Mono bluetooth speaker - your music is, after all, recorded in Stereo for a reason - you have two ears!I did consider getting a more expensive option that can be used inside and outside and which connects the two speakers wirelessly, but for the price differential (three times more expensive) and as I want these to be fixed in one place, it wasn't worth it for me.The speakers are easy to set up, sound quality is great for such small speakers. Slight buzz when Bluetooth not connected, but this disappears once music starts playing - it does mean you need to turn each of the speakers off (individually - each has an on/off switch) when not in use if you find the buzz annoying - that's why it loses a star for me. Note that each has its own recharge (micro mini USB) plug, which you can charge with a provided cable which connects both speakers to a single USB socket. I keep these plugged in all the time myself.You do also have to connect the speakers together with a mini-jack cable (2 sizes provided helpfully) - they aren't connected wirelessly, but that's not a huge problem for me.

I have given these one star as this is the 2nd set I have bought, with one speaker giving up the ghost after less than 10 hours of play time.But on the other hand then I have bought the 2nd pair as they are so good (5 stars) and i'm hoping this pair will behave themselves and give long service. Otherwise use and connectivity via my I-Touch was child's play.However, unlike last time I am keeping all the packaging and receipt just in case of a repeat performance. Hence why I didn't complain to the seller in the first instance. Maybe another error on my part, but I am very used to the old 'If you don't have all the packaging and proof of payment - tough, so i resigned myself to having to buy another pair.'Here's to years of great listening August..

These speakers are great but you can't charge them while using them plugged into a 3.5 jack as you get loads of interference a pulsing hissing noise which is annoying. They work great via Bluetooth though and you can leave them charging with no issues. Great sound very loud and high quality audio I'm using it for steam link and it's great they give my sound bar a run for its money.

There are so many positive reviews here for a reason. These speakers are pretty much perfect.I bought these a few days ago and I feel compelled to write my first ever Amazon review. I've been searching for a buetooth speaker system like this for quite a while. There are several key elements to my search: Portable, USB rechargeable, good quality sound, small, and most important of all - two separate speakers! This kind of thing is so hard to find. There are many, many, many portable speakers that are one single unit. Some stereo, some mono. But to find two separate speakers that link together and are stereo seems almost impossible.I've tried a few. But there aren't that many to try. My favourite was the Gear4 Xorb Mini. - Two speakers, stereo, great sound, etc. They meet my requirements. But they glitch, they sometimes wont connect, they sometimes crackle. I've bought a few! I did this because they are cheap. But each set slowly deteriorated.And in comes the August MS515. I can't remember how I managed to find them on here. But I did and they have just blown me away. These things connect with no trouble. They sound better than anything else I've tried. They are GREAT! The bass is a surprise as well. I just can't understand how such a compact speaker can produce such a sound.I cannot recommend them enough. I've overjoyed at the quality. Buy them. Buy them now.
