SteelSeries Wireless Mouse - Mouse is very good, the Engine Software not so
i spent weeks wondering weather to buy this Steelseries Wireless Mouse - I looked at just about every YouTube review, read countlessreviews and finally decided to take the plunge, only because it was close in size and shape to my dead Microsoft Intellimouse. What a pile of ****, every day the darned thing stops working, cursor only moves slightly, like its stuck, it jitters around, only thing I cando is completely down power my PC, turn it off at the wall and wait 2-3 minutes then it works again, this happens several times a day,I have to use my cheap non-branded wireless mouse to close the PC (which never lets me down), honestly for £80 this is disgusting, only had it 6 weeks, updated firmware etc - its going back, I will not get another Steelseries mouse again.Btw I have used this on 3 of my 6 PCs, same resultsUpdate: following my tantrum above, I un-installed the SteelSeries Engine software and found that the wireless mouse performs extremely well, no lag, jitters - just smooth control, gaming is very good, I don't have all the fancy settings that the engine gave but at least I am now happy with the mouse.

imature software and after a fall from my desk wreck a bit poor build quality for its premium price in pros it ...
Doesn't work on glass, many dc's, difficulties in pairing in some cases, imature software and after a fall from my desk wreck a bitpoor build quality for its premium pricein pros it has good ambidextrous design which was the reason I bought it.

Really wanted to like it
I really tried to love this mouse but in the end gave up after two replacements. It is well implemented though, I like the design of it and the dock but it can be very flakey.I had a lot of issues with it pairing to the station and then charging. Just dropping it in the dock so to speak often meant it wouldn't charge till I shuffled and nudged it a little. The other thing I noticed was that in comparison to an optical mouse the tracking and acceleration is not great. This became really obvious when I swapped over to a Mionix Avior 7000. Night and day different and my accuracy instantly went up with the Mionix. It's not all bad though. The mouse is nice to use for everyday tasks but in my opinion no way worth anything north of a hundred bucks.

Excellent Mouse...
Mouse is working really well (I've had it since Christmas) and I haven't had any issues. It was really easy to set up and it is really responsive.

very nice full size mouse
The mouse it self is full size, which prefer, feels smooth in operation. Lots of pretty colours as well. The downside is the software. The mouse constantly switches off and has to be restarted, and when booting up the computer, the mouse itself can take 30 seconds or more to operate. Not good. I'm going to uninstall the software, and just use windows drivers. This will loose some of the fancy features, such as multiple colour options and macros, I suppose as the mouse feels so good in the hand it might be worth it, and wait for better drivers from the manufacturer.update... If you put the mouse into the charging cradle between use, it does not switch off

Excellent Mouse
Mouse works brilliantly, haven't had any issues with it so farIt's also pretty much plug and play - you can install the extra Steel Series software if you wanted to but its not needed.

Alot better than people make out
Really like this people said its lights on go white and the connestions abit dodgy but i havnt had a single problem. To set up, i keep the docking station plugged into the pc hold buttan at the back for 3 seconds to turn on, then flick the switch on the mouse and hold the connection buttan for 3 seconds. Then for all the colours etc download steelseries engine 3 from the steelseries site easy
