Flawless (almost)
I bought these at half off, and I’m very happy with them. They never fog, and any ice that accumulates on the outside can be easily wiped off. I have the “everyday green mirror” lens, which I find good for Colorado resort skiing. This particular lens is a little light for full sun above tree line, but it’s never bothered me, and the trade off is great performance in the trees and flat light. It also came with a rose lens, which has me comfortably skiing storm/low light. The lens changing mechanic is perfect, the case is excellent. The field of vision is the best I’ve seen, allows me to see riders approaching from all angles. I am not bothered at all by distortion on the bottom — i believe that’s how it extends your field of vision. If you’re not looking directly at it (which I don’t, since it’s my far peripheral vision…) you wouldn’t even notice it. One complaint: An adjuster clip on the strap broke after a couple years. The strap is still hanging on without it, but waiting on Smith to replace.

Get the goggles!
These goggles are really nice. They come with a really nice case and two different lenses. One that works well for the bright side and one that works well for dull white light. I’ve never had a pair of goggles that the lenses swap in and out so easily. I highly recommend these goggles. They fit nicely in my helmet, which is a size small women’s but they fill up the entire space.

Love these! Great field of view!
Awesome goggles with great field of view! I’m an avid snowboarder in Colorado who sees all sorts of conditions: bluebird, low vis, fresh powder, tree runs with constant shifts between sun and shade, etc., so I need goggles that really work well. I used to wear Oakleys, and then I switched to Smith goggles once I got a Smith helmet so the fitment would be ideal. I started with I/O’s last season, then switched to the 4D Mag for this season. The field of view? Game changer! I could never go back to goggles with anything less. Sure the bottom of the lens where it curves has a little distortion, but that’s out of your main line of sight and is hardly noticeable when on the snow. It doesn’t bother me, even if I can see it when looking for it. I feel the greater field of view is definitely worth the slight distortion in the very bottom part of the lens. The lens changing system is quick and easy! The goggles come with an everyday or sun lens (depending on available options and what you choose), and they come with a storm lens. Smith has awesome customer service, so any issues you might have will be taken care of promptly. In fact, my I/O’s had a factory defect and Smith gave me a credit towards new goggles. That’s why I upgraded to the 4D Mags, and I’m so glad I did!

Incredible goggles!
I got these goggles for a crazy deal on an off season sale to replace my anon m4 goggles that had damaged lens. The cost of a new anon lens and the price of these on sale wasn’t much so I figured I’d give em a shot and couldn’t be happier I did. I was just simply hoping for better ventilation with this goggle as my anons would always fog up on me and truthfully wasn’t expecting a vast difference with the 4D technology having come from a large frame goggle already but all I can say is wow. The increased field of view is ridiculous even over the anon m4 and the ventilation system is by far superior. It is hard to justify the price for these but these are the highest end goggle I’ve ever worn hands down and worth every penny, even more so if you can find them on sale. If anyone is looking for a high end goggle and debating between these or anon m4, I would say to go with the 4D mag as the pros of this goggle outweigh the benefits of having anon mfi. 100% would buy these again even at full price.

Nice try! Lol
They tried to send me some cheap vogue googles when I ordered the nice 4D mag goggles! In the pic you can see the two labels. Really disappointed in the Smith store for this one. Rip off! $300 for some entry level goggles with no case, no changeable lenses. Do better!

Best goggles on the market
Smith goggles are very nice but on expensive side, My last 4D goggles got broken, I found that Smith I/O model just as good.

Excellent goggles, worth the high price
Really like the fit over my glasses. Provides a great field of view. Easy lens switching. I like that they have lock down sides in addition to strong magnets holding the lens.

Cooles Teil.

A quality product, comes with two lenses. I was only able to test the one that will be used in foggy weather. But its visibility and usability were the best I have ever used. Definitely an extraordinary product.
