Perfect for pancakes
Perfect perfect perfect!!! Exactly what I was looking for to make round american/scotch pancakes. For a family of 4, I make 3 rounds, 21 in total. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE season the pan, it's cast iron, cast iron must be seasoned, research how cast iron works under heat and you'll understand why. I heated pan on stove (have a cloth ready for the handle), once heated I used a high heat silicon brush and brushed a thin layer all I've the pan (not just the circles), I waited until the smoke had disappeared then added another layer with the brush, once the smoke disappeared I turned off the heat, waited until the pan was warm then took kitchen paper dipped in oil and again wiped the pan down with a very thin layer. Pancakes, low to medium heat is all I needed, I put the pan on heat while I made the pancake mix, when ready to cook, get your silicon brush and brush pan all over with a thin layer of oil and pour mix, once pancakes are 90% dry on top turn, if turned too early you will get sticky pancakes. I also keep a pan with a lid on the smallest burner at the lowest setting for cooked pancakes so they stay warm while I make the others. 200g Self raising flour 1tsp caster sugar 1.5tsp baking powder 3 large eggs 25g butter Pinch of salt 200ml of milk Drop or 2 of vanilla essence... Mix everything bar the milk, then add milk and beat air into mix and away you go... Enjoy!!!

Terrible stay away
After following all instructions correctly about seasoning and preparation, my pancakes were burnt on the bottom, stuck to the pan, raw on top and couldn't be turned or removed without being scraped out. I followed washing guidance but the entire pan has gone rusty. Difficult to use as no protective handle so glove must be used at all times. Would not recommended at all. Have requested return and refund.

Great pan, for years I've paid a fortune for blinis, in one function I've recovered the cost. Yes the pan is heavy but it's a sign of its quality, and yes it's not tefal non stick because it's a quality cast iron pan. Would buy again.

Perfect for pancakes
Very heavy and no silicon around the handle so you need to wear oven gloves when using. Before first use you need to "prepare" the pan by covering it in oil and putting it in the oven for a couple of hours - do not skip this step! I took it out of the oven too early, so after first use it was terrible to clean - now I have done the oil and oven thing again, the pan is easier to clean. Takes some getting used to but makes lovely pancakes once you get the hang of it

Fantastic Blini pan
We don’t eat Blinis often, but love to serve them when we have a party. They are so expensive to buy, so this pan has already paid for itself after our New Year’s Eve party. It’s important to season the pan as per the instructions, once this was done Hubby cooked up a huge batch of blinis pretty quickly. They were a lovely even shape and tasted delicious . We need to invest in a small pallet knife to turn them, but he improvised with a skewer and it did the job perfectly. I think we may have blinis more often now we have this fab pan.

Pointless
Being cast iron this is a very solid pan. However, it’s not non-stick and reduced my normally smooth blinis to a bubbly burnt mess even after several attempts. It’s a nightmare to clean and the handle gets too hot to pick the pan up (even using an oven glove) to remove it from the heat of the hob.

Excellent quality/price (not sticky, not rusty after seasoning)
My first cast iron years back was a disappointment: sticky and rusted. Only to learn after that : 1. cast iron needs seasoning (cover the pan with a thin oil layer and leave it in the oven 200°-220°C for 1h. The process could be repeated 1-2 times even though with this pan it worked fine after the first round of seasoning). The burned oil will leave an anti-sticking layer 2. Don't ever use dish detergent but only water to rince it after use 3. Dry it imediately after washing I am attaching pictures of delicious mini-crepes (like with other pans I add a drop of oil from time to time before pouring the pancakes) Kids love the tiny size and they try building different patterns with the mini crepes in their plates. My recipe: - 4 eggs - 300g white flour - 900g milk or (half milk/half water) - salt, baking soda - a few oil drops

Magnifique produit !

Y no hace falta lavarla después.
