Good set of children's tweezers
Just what I expected, brilliant pair of children's tweezers. We have used them for picking up small items to practice boy age 2's fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. We cannot wait to see what else we can use them for! I would however say that they do need wearing in before giving to a young child as they can be quite stiff and hard for them to control independently.

Great tweezers, well made and firm to hold
We bought this learning resource jumbo tweezers for our son after recommendation from the teacher to improve his fine motor skills.The tweezers arrived after a few days and are bigger than I would have hoped but equally have a good first finger section as well as a four tooth section at the end to help hold securely whatever they are trying to tweezer.The tweezers feel like they are made from a decent quality plastic and therefore wouldn't snap if squeezed too tightly.The tweezers themselves are quite firm but I think this is better as it will help to improve the small muscles between our sons fingers when using them - they are firm but not too tight. We are hoping to continue using them and will see an improvement in his fine motor skills.

A great tool for developing fine motor control
These tweezers are fantastic at developing a child's fine motor control. Quite a lot of pressure needs to be used to pick up any items, big or small. There is much greater resistance using these tweezers than an ordinary pair of tweezers so when used regularly will really help to develop children's pencil control. I have found that the children in my class really enjoy using them and a queue will often form when they are being used. Unfortunately I only bought 5 pairs and not a whole class set!If you have been using 'ordinary' tweezers to develop a child's fine motor control I really recommend upgrading to these as they are so much better.

Good size, sturdy and multi purpose
Great size, perfect for little hands and for practicing fine motor skills and pincer grip. Also Great for party games for older kids too as we played a fun game at my daughters 8th birthday party using these to carry marshmallows and sweets between different bowls in a race. So very versatile overall! Lovely bright colours too and seem quite sturdy so should last.
