**Q: what age is this suitable for please ?**
A: Really ANY AGE !! We all loved it , have children from five to 18 years of age, and including us parents and grandparents, we were all amazed, grabbing hands in forming a circle , while two of the children were holding stick in between (TIP: we also purchased a plasma ball, the boys were thrilled to observe how the stick interacted with the plasma ball, having said that , we did feel that due to the electrical connection of the plasma ball, we had to supervise.)

It’s great fun. Touching the stick sets going teeny electric event creating flashing. 
The Energy Stick has a highly sensitive circuit that’s able to detect very small amounts of electricity that travel across your skin. Put a hand on each of the foil ends of the Stick and the flashing lights and buzzing let you know that you’ve completed the circuit.

**Q: How do you change the batteries? If they are not replaceable, as some have said, what is the point of advertising the battery type?**
A: Unfortunately gave as a gift. I can’t check to see if it’s possible to change battery.

A: Yes - it takes a CR2032 ("coin cell")

The product itself is great, but in the description on Amazon it says it takes AAA batteries, with the option to buy a pack. It actually takes a little button one, and it already has one in. It was great for my demonstration though.
