Hi I’m new to this and want to set up my alterations and tailoring hobby are these threads suitable for that or just embroidery

Hi they are 40 weight embroidery threads. I’ve never tried them on my sewing machine but don’t think they would be any good for regular sewing. Great for machine embroidery though.

Can these be used with the brother VR embroidery machine?

I'm new to embroidery and bought these to use with my Brother embroidery machine. Not sure about VR, but mine is a Brother and they work very well with this make. Hope this helps.

Can i use this on my ordinary pfaff sewing machine? i normally use alcazar or gutterman and they work perfectly.

Personally mine ended up in the bin. The plastic spools have little nicks/spurs and this causes the thread to keep catching and causing it to break, and also the spools are threaded so loosely that the thread falls off the spool wasting all the thread , so it was cheaper to just throw them away and buy from another company. Thats just my experience.

Are these threads EN approved?

I don't know the answer to that, but I really like these threads they never snap when embroidering on my machine. I find cheap ones constantly break. Hope this helps
