I have been using blue puppy pads in the past to help protect our floors from shower leaks and cat "accidents" but after reading the various reviews I thought I would give these a go and I wasn't dissapointed - Once I realised which side was the absorbant side!Ok, so with blue pads you can see quite easily which is the absorbant side but when putting the first white sheet down I didnt realise I had put the absorbant side "face down" so I was very upset when I saw water just pooling on top of the surface.Whilst the absorbant side does feel a little softer and rougher than the waterproof side, I have poor sensitivity in my fingertips and without glasses and rushing to put the sheet down, it was an easy mistake to make.I wrapped the sheet over to cover the pooled water with the absorbant side and was happy to see the liquid get sucked up straightaway.The absorbant part of the sheet measures 52.5 cm x 34 cm and will hold quite a bit of water but I noticed that it took a while for a large puddle to get sucked in! They are perfect for my needs and I would probably get them again (although I will make sure to put my glasses on in the future)

It seems to me that the majority of poorer reviews come from people who had different expectations about size. Yes, it is kind of narrow, but it's ample for our pup. And it does the job. I previously bought a pack of 21 pads at Tesco for some 6 or 7 quid. Tesco ones, although wider in size, were crap, and fluid used to penetrate the bottom layer and reach the floor. I definitely cannot say that about these pads! And I think it's a pretty good deal!

The quality of these pee-wee pads is very good, especially compared to some others on the market. The wadding is thick and absorbent and they do the job for which they are intended. I use these mainly to line the various sleeping places of my disabled cat who suffers with urine retention problems. Sometimes I cut them into smaller pieces to make them go further, and what I really like about them is that the wadding stays fixed to the water-proof liner and doesn't disintegrate and fall out as some brands do. They are a little on the smaller side than others, but for me, the quality more than compensates for this. There is one bad point, however (hence only four stars) and that it is that the absorbent side and the water-proof side are very similar in appearance, and actually to the touch as well, and more than once I've accidentally placed them the wrong way up. Other brands use either a blue backing or a feint paw print design to make it easy to distinguish which side is which, whereas these are white all round. If they could make them so that the backing looks different to the front then they would be perfect.

Love the fact that for a boxer of 100 cheap

When I ordered these puppy pads they said they were large.But they wasn't they were very small you would have to use two pads if you have medium or large dog. Very disappointed won't be buying them again.

Does the job

The media could not be loaded.  I use these for my 3 Indian Runner ducklings as they are very messy, especially with their water. It saves me having to change the whole bedding, just remove and replace the wet puppy mats. They are brilliant! The one thing I really like about them is they are rectangular, and that means they fit into the feeding/drinking area very well. Runner ducks don’t need swimming water - just water to drink and dunk their heads to wash their faces. They are the easiest duck to look after and have as pets.In the photo/video, I’m just using the last couple of ASDA ones, which are not so great... they go into a soggy mess.In the video, I’ve just cleaned out their ‘enclosure’ and put the food, etc in there... you can see they are really excited to get back in... nom nom 🥰. Bless them.

These are not large as they say in description. Look further down page for the measurements. These are very small, I needed to put two down side by side & I only have a small puppy & they leak . It’s £20.45 for 100, but having to put two down at a time makes it £20.45 for 50. Which doesn’t make them value for money. you can get 100 for £12.99 out of pets at home for £12.99 which I normally get. A lot bigger & more absorbent than these. Would of sent back only I’d run out .
