I've used rothen's, bahcos, irwins, rolsons, a string of other lesser known budget brands and I've found these to be the most reliable cutters - with a bit of greasing internally every so often to prevent rust and keep things moving smoothly, which should be done with all cutters!These have never tramlined/spiralled up the pipe and have always cut quick so long as the blade isn't completely kaput.

I'm no plumber but needed to cut a copper water pipes and re-route using plastic push-fits for my shower. I decided to buy Monument as I'd seen good reviews elsewhere.I was amazed how quickly I achieved the cuts and this tool left no sharp edges. I didn't fancy using a hacksaw as the pipes were awkward to get to.This gave me the confidence to do a 'bigger job' in the loft and same result. I now have the 22mm and 15mm versions. I know you can get cheaper alternatives however I think it's worth spending a little more.

Can't fault it so far. Feels strong and cuts well!The only way to improve it would be to give some rubber on the outside for a better grip but it is very good.

Good clean cuts, easy to dismantle to change blade or clean.Only thing I could potentially want from it is to be a bit slimmer but then I think that would take away from the sturdyness of it

I have 2 of these, for 15 and 22mm, and I also have an adjustable type pipe cutter. These cutters come into their own for pipework which is close to walls or corners. Just clip on and a couple of turns and Robert is your Mother’s Brother! I do recommend a frequent spray of a light lube for keeping the wheels running

I have always used the cutters that you have to screw the adjuster in all the time, these you just clip onto the pipe, a couple of turns and you have a nice clean cut.Wish I had discovered these years ago.

A well made item, I used it to cut two 22mm old copper pipes and it worked as well as the 15mm tool. Recommend.
