**Q: What size needle do I use for 9 count cross stitch, I'm using 6 strands of floss?**
A: I would use a size 22 for an 8 or 11 count project.  Size 24 for 14 count and a size 28 for anything higher.  I usually do 14 count projects, so I am not sure if that helps you.  Good Luck!

**Q: I'm looking for blunt end tapestry needles for my child to work with. Is this the same?**
A: These are blunt end, but the size depends on the canvass or mesh size.  Tapestry needles range from 18-28, the larger the number, the smaller the needle and the smaller the needle, the smaller the eye of the needle.  I use these 24's for cross stitch using embroidery thread on a 14-count Aida fabric.  If you are using a larger count fabric or canvass, or if you're using yarn, you would need a larger eye of the needle and therefor a lower numbered size.  All are blunt end, but the smaller the needle the more sharp even a blunt end would be.
