Neti pot changed my life
As an allergy sufferer, I had heard all about neti pots, but the thought of draining water through my nostrils in the morning was not so appealing. I used my girlfriend's when I was sick and saw the light, so I sought out to buy one for myself. I got this one because it is the cheapest out there and it is plastic and I tend to drop things in the shower. I agree with the other reviewer that it's overpriced for a piece of molded plastic, and it will probably break right down the molded seam if I drop it, but it has been amazingly effective. Just a half teaspoon of sea salt in warm water each morning and I can breathe better and my sinus area is moisturized. Don't bother buying fancy neti solutions - simple course-ground sea salt is all you need.

Works well for what it is.
It works well but too bad it's not stainless steal or ceramic. I had no idea it would be plastic when I bought it. I prefer not to use plastic.UPDATE: :( I guess I better buy one that is not made of plastic for one thing and also one that will hold up longer than a month. If I had known I could come back and edit reviews sooner I would have done so. I will NOT purchase this product again. The seam in the plastic leaks horribly! It apparently is not well made.

Leaked.
I love this pot but the seam on the bottom started leaking after only about 20 uses. It's cute but not functional. I am a big proponent of neti pots but believe the ceramic ones are probably superior for materials.

Awesome.
Since a year or so ago some of my friends have been telling me I should get a neti pot for my sinus/allergy problems. They use it and are huge fans; however, since I am not a fan of drowning I always brushed them off....until this fall. My allergies were worse than ever, post-nasal drop for a couple of months, couldn't breath when waking up, etc. If you have allergies/sinus problems you know what I mean. I was so sick of anti-histamines and decongestants and the side effects of those; drowsiness, hyper-ness and the fact that I just don't want my kidneys and liver having to filter all that stuff if I could find another way to alleviate my problems. Well, this was it. I got brave and tried it. There is definitely a learning curve (a few days/tries is all it takes), but once you get used to it you'll be addicted. And I mean that literally, because if I'm out somewhere and my allergies act up I can't wait to get home to neti. When my boyfriend stays over I plan a way to neti without him having to see/hear it (it's a bit unattractive when you're expelling the snot after neti-ing)When my problems aren't acting up I neti every day or every other, and I find I enjoy it more-so in the morning to get all the gunk out that settled while sleeping (you know...when only one nostril works...ha) But when my sinuses are bothering me I'll do it two or three times a day.It didn't totally get rid of the post-nasal drip, but it made it a lot less annoying. Also, when everyone else I work with came down with a "sinus bug" (and I work in a hospital) I never got it...I think becuase of the lack of mucus for the "bug" to stick to.Lastly, this is the only neti pot I've ever used so I have no other to compare it to, but I imagine I would like it better than the ceramic ones because it's very light...and doesn't break when you drop it.I'll never go without this. Seriously, give it a try, you'll be happy you did.

Drips all over - Poor design...
I have used a neti pot on and off for over 7 years...(usually during allergy season) so I am not helpless when it comes to how to hold and use one, proper form, etc. I bought this one because I liked the design and the fact that it seemed to come from a caring, well thought idea of using Eco safe plastic, etc....don't get me wrong, that part is great. But the design is poor. I don't under or over fill my neti pots when I use them, and this one drips out of the top instantly and constantly when you go to use it over the sink. I've even tried filling it with less water than I am used to doing....same thing. Drips all over. Annoying.Plus, the spout opening is way too small ( the part where the water flows out into your nostril, AND (for me anyway) the width of the part around the opening is too big to create a comfy seal inside my nose!) So what ends up happening for me is a too big spout shoved in my nose that is not comfy, and a spout opening where just a tiny trickle comes out, and it takes forever to empty both nostrils with your solution! All of this is a pain in of itself, not to forget the fact that the top of the pot constantly drips water out of the top while you are trying to rinse. Ugh. Just a hassle. I've had better luck with a plain Walgreens model.I'm tossing this in the recycle bin and researching ceramic neti pots which supposedly are better and harbor no bacteria when care for properly ( not the way plastic, no matter what type it is, eventually does.) I recommend passing on this one....

Best neti pot I've found so far
I am happy with the design of this neti pot, though it's definitely more cheaply made now than this brand used to be (I broke mine recently after 10 years - always check the temperature of your water before putting it in the pot cause hot water will crack it open). Wasn't expecting it to be purple but no biggie. It works as advertised!
