NexiumControl Heartburn & Indigestion Tablets for Acid Reflux Relief, Gastro-Resistant Esomeprazole Tablets, 20mg, 14 Count

The media could not be loaded. I suffer from bad acid reflux and I have a hiatus hernia which causes gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD). This is especially an issue at night time because the acid can creep it's way up and burn a large ulcer into the back of my throat. Sometimes, that can be excruciating and take a week or so to sort itself out.Anyhow, I've had all the cameras down the throat and the docs said it's not worth an operation so I've been on Lasoprozole for over 20 years to treat it. The Lasoprozole works ok but it can cause lots of bloating in the stomach and gas, making me feel uncomfortable. It also doesn't agree with alcohol. (Yes, I know I shouldn't drink on those but sometimes the situation arises and I need to let my hair down)I do like coffee and spicy foods (my vices) but I general lead a pretty healthy life with a decent diet and exercise 4 times per week. I also drink 1.5 litres of water per day. Sometimes the Lasoprozole isn't enough and I get the acid reflux still.-- WORKS WONDERS. BETTER THAN LANSOPROZOLE --I've tried Zantac and it doesn't seem to work that well. Tums and Rennie I eat like sweets. They work fine until you need a drink of water and then they stop working.Nexium Control tablets (made by Pfizer - sorry about the Viagra calim) are by far the best - they just work. I take one in with food and they seem to stop everything for at least a couple of days. I get no burping, bloating or food repeating on my. I feel great and have decided to subscribe to a monthly delivery via Amazon.Summary:- Works on my bad acid reflux (GERD)- Needs one tablet take away heartburn- No gas or bloating- Easy to swallow- 14 tablets should easily last a monthRecommended. Get some. A ++++++++

Very good and fast effective tablets of heartburn, 1 hour and it dissappear for a week, not to pricey, easy to swallow.

These are an absolute life saver.Nothing else works so effectively to completely cure my acid reflux.You can take them everyday, but try and see how long you can go between doses.For me, I find that every other day works perfectly.With me, I start to feel relief within a few hours, but it may take a few days of taking them, for you to feel the real benefit.These contain Esomeprazole which I find more effective than the tablets containing Omeprazole.Esomeprazole is processed more slowly by your liver, which means you end up with longer relief. It is also thought to act quicker, although that can be dependent on the individual.The tablets are slightly smaller than a paracetamol 500mg tablet. They are encapsulated in a gastro-resistant coating and should be easy to swallow for the majority of people.If you do have problems swallowing pills, you can also get Nexium capsules. These are less than half the size of the tablets.You mustn't break them in half to half the dose, as this will compromise the gastro-resistant coating and they will start to be broken down in your stomach.This will make them a lot less effective.Overall, I can thoroughly recommend these Nexium tablets. They have increased my quality of life tremendously.One proviso, you shouldn't really take these indefinitely and I strongly recommend that you mention to your doctor that you are taking them, as other treatments could be more suitable.I hope you found this review helpful.
