Fit is as expected. Not overly comfortable and definitely NOT waterproof (see my wet socks after a walk in the wet grass - not even in the rain). They are ok for this time of year but would be no good in the winter. I would descibe them as entry level walking boots

The most amazing boots ever!
These boots are incredible, very comfortable and fully waterproof. They felt sturdy and have good grip. I wear them every day on the farm and would 100% purchase again. I have recommended them to my friends.

Comfy, sturdy, waterproof
So comfortable and easy to break in. I got one blister on my toe, but even though I wore these boots to hike for 4-6 hours/day of hiking for the next week, the blister never even burst. Also literally half the cost of the same boot anywhere else.

Cute colours, good sole, but uncomfortable toe cap.
I wear a 10.5 women's shoe and found this shoe to be true to its size. I have a fairly wide foot and the regular size was only slightly restrictive, but not enough to require a wide cut shoe.I really want to like this shoe, as it's cute and the sole is comfortable, but the leather is thin. (I even question if it's a genuine leather upper. Seems and feels more like a PU leather.) The leather is so thin that you can see the outline of the toe cap construction, which incidentally cut into the top of my feet when I pushed off to take a step around the house. I don't know if this requires wearing in, but in the past, I've never felt the line of the toe cap before. This one is very prominent, and I can imagine this causing pain to my foot after a long hike. I'm concerned that the shoe would get worn down quickly, because of this feature, and would leave me with some blisters on the top of my feet.If I end up keeping this shoe, it will be because the sole is comfortable and the boots are relatively light, and because I picked it up for a decent discount. It doesn't look like it would fair well in mucky wet weather, and just by observation it looks like the upper part of the shoe has a short shelf life.Edit: I can attest that there is some suede on the top of the shoe, but only as an accent. I'm yet to be convinced that the material around the toe is actually genuine leather. The thickness of it cannot be more than 1mm, but the suede is much thicker, and can be found on the shoe's tongue as a label and on either side of the shoe. It's not very much.

Waterproof and comfortable!
I bought these boots to hike Mount Washington, NH and they were amazing! They have really good traction on ice and mud. They're waterproof and very comfortable. I went for a 9 hour hike the first time I wore them and didn't get any blisters. I highly recommend these boots!
