Pond Gravel 4-6mm 8 litres

It's gravel, not sure how one reviews gravel. It's round and clean and easy to handle, How's that?

Nice amount of gravel. Did five baskets 19cm square. Set off the plants nicely.Size of stone a little smaller than I wanted.

We purchased the gravel for a new wildlife garden pond. Altho 8 ltr sounds a lot and is heavy, doesn’t cover a very large area. To cover to a substantial depth/thickness, several bags would be required for even a small area.Would be ok for a small tank.

Punctured bag but easier than carrying it home from the shop.

This is an excellent product. The bag is quite small but if I had to guess, you can do an inch layer 1/2 meter squared. I guess this would easily cover several baskets or so, which is what I bought the gravel for. The gravel itself is perfect for ponds and is totally safe for fish and plants alike.The only point I would make is that the post and packing I thought was a tad high at £5. This might have been a standard price but I'm sure you could deliver it cheaper. Having said that, if you were to travel to a garden centre or similar, it might cost you more in petrol costs. Overall, I would still highly recommend this product.

Like the size and shape of the gravel although I did wash it first instructions didn't say it could go on without washing it ,so as a novis it might have helped
