Very weighty
It’s a good case, fits every thunderbird model to my knowledge. It’s pricey but I spose since it’s tailored for one type of bass in particular it will be. It’s got a lot of weight to it too, but it keeps the bass safe which is the most important bit.

An excellent sturdy hardcase to protect your Thunderbird bass.
An excellent sturdy and attractive hardcase to REALLY protect your Thunderbird bass. Excellent shaped padding gives you confidence that the bass will not move in the case and that it will be properly protected. There are three clasps to hold it securely closed (one locking, key provided inside case). There is also a pocket to hold straps, etc - though both of my Thunderbirds have their straps attached.Please note that the headstock end of the case tapers inwards and is narrower. it's not a true rectangular shape, as in the photo, which I was really surprised by. It may be either an updated case or just another model of case being sold. Not a deal breaker, though.Once you get it ad open it, if it really stinks of glue, like both of mine did, Just put it in another room with the window wide open. The smell will clear away.

Main problem i was buying this case not for an Epiphone Thunderbird but a Harley Benton Thunderbird.
And it didn't fit the Harley Benton Thunderbird, stupidly i took it all Thunderbird basses would have the same dimensions just the quality of hardware would be different. So i had to alter the inside.

TB BIRD PROIV CASE!
Brilliant.Better than the Gator cases.Make sure you buy the right one for your bird. TB PROIV will be a tapered case, not square.

Thunderbird bass guitar case
As a bass player of 44 years I'm very impressed with this case. A nice tight fit for my new Tbird and very large storage area for strap, spare strings and batteries. Time will tell how robust it is but, seems great to me. All the catches line up and lock positively in place and one key is included to lock the case. Case with bass in is not too heavy and price was fair. Delivered when stated. I would recommend this product PeTe

Thunderbird Classic IV, does not fit.
The Thunderbird Classic IV, does not fit. Be careful. Do not buy it unless you are will to cut, modify and glue it back the interior. It's remarkable that this is not on the description.
