Works very well, easy to see where I mounted it and just the right size. It comes with a mounting bracket and double sided tape so the clock can be removed for battery changes. Hopefully the battery will last for a while, try to minimize the back lighting feature to extend the life. Good deal for the $!

It returns to normal when it cools down and there doesn't seem to be any long lasting effects. I think they should have mentioned this (i.e. - not for use outdoors).

FYI, the light is only on when you turn it on separate and then it will only stay lit for 4 hours. It's powered by a disc style battery. I purchased this just to put on the night stand. It needs to be close to eye level to read it. Would not buy again.
