Very responsive after sales support, and a decent mouse so far
The mouse works very well for me as a secondary mouse when I am away from home, and a nice option within a decent budget too. But this review focuses on their excellent after-sales service due to an issue I was facing. As I planned to use this as my backup mouse, I had it switched off and in my bag, while keeping the batteries on. But for some reason, it drained the batteries completely on 2 separate occasions (I made sure it was turned off every time). So possibly a drainage issue so I reached out to Teknet for support, and they promptly sent me a new one within just a few days! Really happy with their straightforward approach, and I am looking forward to using this mouse for a long time!Summary:Pros:+ Excellent after-sales support from the company+ Decent mouse for the price, good quality materials+ Pretty and ergonomicFeedback:- The mouse gets a bit too heavy with 2 AA batteries, so I recommend using a AAA to AA converter if you want a lightweight one, otherwise perfect

Excellent mouse - and good value at the price
TeckNet® M002 Nano Wireless Mouse,6 Buttons, 18 Month Battery Life, 2000 DPI 3 Adjustment Levels-Grey This TeckNet M002 Nano Optical Wireless Mouse is the best mouse I have bought. The specifications of the model sent by TeckNet are in fact better than the description on the Amazon website and as provided by the ASIN link above. According to the clear and comprehensive instruction leaflet that came with it, the mouse I received supports FIVE levels of DPI (not limited to three); it supports 800/1200/1600/2000/2400 DPI. You press the DPI button to move between these levels. This means that on the higher settings it would be fine for gaming laptops - and as such it is very good value and of a high specification for the price. The default DPI setting the mouse came with seems fine to me - I haven't had to change the DPI as the mouse cursor moves comfortably and responsively across the screen at this setting. I have never found it neccessary to fiddle with DPI settings - and I am not sure I would notice the difference unless I was using a high-end game, when you might want to try it on 2400 DPI or if your PC screen is extremely high resolution. The TechNet M002 feels solid with good reliable click actions on all buttons. It is also a very comfortable ergonomic fit for the right hand. (I am left-handed but taught myself to use a mouse in the right hand some years ago – and I now find using my right hand for the mouse completely natural. This mouse is not really the right shape for left-handers.)The TechNet M002 takes one AA battery which will last up to 18 months, obviously depending on usage. This is better than the two previous mice I bought from other suppliers, which take two AAA batteries that need changing a lot more frequently than this. There are several great advantages with this type of nano optical wireless mouse. The nano receiver is tiny and fits snugly in a spare USB port. It is so unobtrusive that you can leave it in the USB port all the time, even inside a laptop carry-case, without worrying that the little receiver might place strain on the port fitting – it just doesn’t stick out far enough to do any harm. (Compare this with the large USB -plug-ins that used to come with mice – at least the size of a flash drive and easily knocked if moving the laptop around).Another advantage of this type of mice is that it connects easily, automatically and reliably with your laptop first time, unlike Bluetooth mice, for which you have first to make sure that the Bluetooth is switched on and that the Bluetooth mouse is ‘discovered’ by your laptop. My advice is to avoid Bluetooth mice – they are unreliable and fiddly to install on your PC.A third advantage is that nano optical devices like the TeckNet mouse are wireless – so no connecting the mouse by wire to a USB port is necessary - while they perform as well and are as accurate as wired mice. The TechNet mouse was delivered promptly the next day following placing the order, and I like the fact that though the mouse is manufactured in China, it is supplied by a UK-based company which offers an extra six months warranty on the 18 months warranty that comes with the mouse as standard, if you register your purchase with them. All in all I am very impressed with this mouse – and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who want a decent, reliable nano optical mouse with good specifications at a very reasonable price.

Chunky and reassuringly solid. Good ergonomics.
I spent around £10 for this mouse and so far I have to say that it seems to have been money well spent. My previous mouse was a low-profile wireless mouse that had started to become rather random in its actions. It didn't quite break down; it just seemed to develop a mind of its own, doing what it wanted to do instead of what I wanted it to do. I guess it was the mouse equivalence of senility.Unfortunately, when trying to find a new replacement mouse, I quickly discovered that there is a bewildering choice of alternatives out there. It really is daunting trying to find a model that suits your needs and budget, and also one that's reliable and well-made.I wasted the best part of an hour just trawling through mouse after mouse on the Amazon website. Eventually, I narrowed it down to three different makes and models. From that point on, the choice was relatively easy. Two of the mice I had shortlisted cost in excess of £60. That was way beyond my budget. That left this Tecknet mouse as the sole survivor of the selection process. I was tempted to spend a little more time to re-evaluate my decision, but by that time I was sorely fed up of using the trackpad on my laptop. And anyway, it only cost around £10. If the worst came to the worst and this Tecknet mouse turned out to be a proper turkey, I could always think again about spending perhaps a bit more on a 'decent' mouse. So, without further ado, I pressed the 'BUY NOW' button. And held my breath. And kept my fingers crossed. It arrived the next day. Packaging? Nothing flamboyant. Just effective, functional, strong packaging. There was a handy fold-out instruction leaflet that was written in very good English and that was actually quite comprehensive. Impressive. And there was also a little card inviting me to register the product a.s.a.p. to benefit from a full 3-year warranty. Again, impressive. The mouse takes 2 AA batteries, although none were included. This wasn't really a problem - I'd rather select my own batteries and install them myself than have a dubious make of battery pre-installed. Inside the battery cover on the underside of the mouse is where the tiny transmitter/receiver lives whilst in storage. It's pretty much standard in size, and plugs in and plays without any fuss whatsoever. In use, the mouse is absolutely fine. It works, and it does everything it's supposed to do. Size-wise, the mouse fills the palm of my hand nicely - I thought initially that it was quite a large mouse compared to my last one, but now that I've used it for a few days, it's really comfortable. If I rest my hand on it, the entire body of the mouse touches all of the palm of my hand - my last mouse was quite shallow by comparison, so that it was only the tips of my fingers that touched the mouse - here, you really feel that the mouse is totally within your control. In short, the mouse is quite 'humpy' or 'domed' - I know this isn't exactly techno-speak, but hopefully it conveys how ergonomic it is.One of the things I really like about the mouse is the degree to which it slopes to the side - the top surface is not parallel to the mousepad, it's got a pronounced curve so that it can sit nicely inside your palm. This makes it feel natural and much easier to grip naturally without having to bend your wrist into an uncomfortable shape. It's really nice in use.The materials it's made from appear fine - the two main finger areas on the top of the mouse for normal right and left clicking are made from a lightly textured plastic - thankfully not shiny plastic. They work well, although the click it makes when selecting right or left click is louder than any previous mouse I've owned. It's not deafening, but it's certainly not good if you're trying to work quietly. It doesn't bother me in the slightest - the best way I have of describing it would be to call it a reassuringly positive click. The thumb-rest on the left hand side of the mouse has a greater degree of texture to it than the top of the mouse, which is a small but still significant point. It all combines to give a really good sense of grip when holding the mouse. The top scroll-wheel is nicely weighted and has a ridged surface on it for better grip. There is no free-play at all on the scroll-wheel - this is a very big plus in my book. It's a sign of decent design and engineering. There are also two additional 'thumb' buttons (click-type) on the left side of the mouse - these are for forward and back movements, and they seem to work fine. The underside of the mouse reveals the large-ish sliding cover for the batteries. Personally, I would have preferred a more secure clip to keep this lid in place; it's almost as if Tecknet have decided to cut a few corners here, as the tolerances on the underside don't quite match up to the rest of the mouse design. It's not a major problem; the battery compartment opens and closes OK. The lid and catch just doesn't seem as well finished as the rest. But I suppose that in order to keep costs to a minimum, compromises have had to be made. The ON/OFF switch is also on the underside of the mouse. It's of a sliding type, and although it's quite small, it seems to work well enough.I haven't tried to alter the DPI on the mouse. I used it straight out of the box and it seems perfectly fine at whatever setting has been preset. Most of my work is in photo-manipulation, (Photoshop and other software) and the mouse is absolutely fine for this. It's accurate the way it is and I really don't see any real need to delve into other DPI settings.I always switch the mouse off when I'm away from my laptop, so I have no idea if there is an AUTO-OFF setting that kicks in. I think there is, but personally I don't really see the need for it.Overall, this has turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and it's of a far better standard than I expected for £10. It's pleasant in use and does the business without any real fuss. Perhaps the best compliment I can give it is to say that after a while of using it continuously, I forget it's there. It just seamlessly merges into the palm of my hand. All in all, this is an excellent mouse, and an exceptional bargain.I hope you've found this brief review to be useful.

Arrived on time...shame it is faulty!......Has now been resolved...works fine.
Item arrived on time. Feels comfortable to use. Inserted two brand new batteries (correctly) and only got a brief red-light flicker then nothing! Item seems to be faulty. Not a good start.I have now resolved the issue after reading the troubleshooting section of the returns screen. It seems to be working fine now. Maybe the instruction manual can be more specific regarding initial set up.The Tecknet mouse works smoothly, is comfortable and reasonably priced. I recommend this product. Also, the Tecknet team were very helpful 👍🏼

Great value for the cost
Works great, feels good in the palm to use.Be aware, the instructions indicate that it is only good for the operating system up to Win10. Fortunately this is what I have but it didn't occur to me that compatibility with an operating system was a necessary consideration (and I didn't read all the details before buying). It just says it 'may' have operating issues for more recent (Win11) operating systems.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand in the future though should I need one when I replace my ancient laptop.

Darum mußte eine neue Maus her.

Supera ogni aspettativa
Semplicemente: ergonomico, ortopedico e termodinamico!
