Velvotan Self Tan Folding Back Applicator

I love this product - I used it for sun tan lotion rather than fake tan, when I was on holiday alone and needed to put SPF on my back. Does the job, long enough handle to let you reach the middle of your back. Quite small when folded away so doesn't take up much space.

It's hard to use. Only used it twice so far. I still have to ask someone to help apply my fake tan area on my back where I have missed. I also think that the pads should be bigger for more spread and not having to rely on someone to still help you. Still good for the price tho. I think once I keep trying to use this I may get the hang of it. But, so far I don't think I will. If you have long arms then, Yeah, It will work

Love this, always had problems doing the top of my back, takes a wee while to get the hang of it, but would recomend, the pads could do with being slightly bigger but still happy with the product

This is TERRIBLE it is small flimsy and has a tiny area to add tanner onto - like the size of a face compact sponge making the job of tanning your back difficult, near on impossible. There are products out there that actually do make tanning your back easy....this is NOT one.

The back applicator has a small surface area which in turn, leaves streaks. I thought the idea of the applicator was great but it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

Cute little gadget and makes it easier to reach that little bit in the middle of my back!

I use this to apply moisturiser, rather than self-tan, to the middle of my back. Am on my second one now - contrary to the sales pitch there are not two spare sponges with the applicator, one comes already attached and there is one sponge spare, and I haven't so far located anywhere that might sell the spare sponges on their own, so once you've used them up you have to buy a whole new applicator. It is a rather awkward shape - exactly like a curved shoe horn. You extend it out until open and it clicks into place down the middle, apply your lotion to the sponge and rub on your back - only thing is you have to hold the rather large, curved shoe horn-like end, which isn't easy at times. It does, however, fit into most sponge bags, given you can fold it in half, which is why I keep buying them. Does the job.
