Bought this to power a set of q-acoustics 2020i's as my first proper audio setup. Didn't want a huge box like traditional amps all seem to be so this fit the bill, and bluetooth was an attractive addition. I can't say I've listened to a lot of high end setups but this amp and my speakers sound great and I suspect anyone else who isn't a audiophile but wants better audio would likely agree. Music, gaming and movies all sound great, you can do some basic eq modification with impressive amounts of extra bass being put out if you crank that up, and it gets plenty loud. Bluetooth works well connects easily and sounds good as well. Negative in the really flimsy included remote didnt work, but I bought one off aliexpress (search sabaj a3) which arrived in 2 weeks and works great and is well built and only cost an extra fiver. Review: Fantastic amplifier! - This amplifier is very good! The build quality is excellent, for a product designed and produced in China, the product feels well made. I like that the company has its own website and a product line which again gives confidence to the buyer. The amplifier has a black metal outer case, the knob is also metal and spins all the way around with a click-like feedback. The amp has a nice weight to it and the bluetooth antenna and connection is quite good. The charger also feels good, similar to a laptop charger with a led indicator. The amp does not make any static sound, buzz, hiss when powered on, when idle or when playing music any all normal levels, it is noise free!. This is something that I really appreciate and I guess a feature for amps of this price range. Previously I experiemented with a <£50 amp from desertcart and there was background noise which was audible and irritating. There are many options with this amp, the built in equalisers are very good, from tight sounds (rock, jazz, soft rock, hard), to bass driven (pop, dance, bass1,2,3), vocal driven (vocal, dialogue, hip-hop, classical) or you can turn off eq. Within each eq setting you can further tune the bass/treble responses in steps of +/-2 db to a maximum of 6. So in general, I could get all the sounds I wanted and I really enjoyed the options. There is also the option to dim the screen to a level where it does not annoy you in the night. Inputs, I really enjoyed the usb input which makes this amp a DAC also, the sound quality through this is excellent. The Bluetooth connectivity was a must for me and again, the sound quality is excellent when using spotify. I haven't tried aux/opt but I imagine they would be superb. The remote control. I really like it, it looks premium and the buttons feel good. It may not last as long as the amp but it is down to the user's care. Now some reviewers have mentioned that the remote gets stuck which requires a hard button restart but I that pressing the 'A' button made it work again. I don't know what the 'A,B,C' buttons do but suffice to say all the settings can be done through the remote, including changing sources, volume, eq, on/off. Finally and most importantly, the sound quality. I paired this amp to my Roth RA1 passive speakers (50W max) and at vol setting 11-12 I can achieve ~80-85dBA at 2m listening position. The max volume goes up to 36 I believe, so this thing can get my speakers to go loud not that I've ever pushed it past 24 for safety. The sound quality is excellent, after tweaking for the room acoustics through the eq, I am very happy with the sounds. The amp does not get very hot either. So overall, 4/5 for this amp, I am very happy with the purchase. Will buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So good I bought 2 *by D***D on 27 April 2017* This is a versatile and compact system with high quality components and is incredible value for money. I have 1 of these amps running Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers, the other Mission LX-2, and they sound fantastic. The sound is very clear, and is on the bright side, more so when using Bluetooth, but the treble/bass EQ and custom EQs adjustments will give you the sound you want. As expected, there is a noticeable improvement in sound through the 3.5 mm aux port. This unit is very well built. The remote is compact and functions well. I haven't used it as a USB DAC or the optical in yet so cannot comment on these two (very useful) features. Buy one, you'll be pleased.
