Great coffee table book. Quite an interesting read for wrist watch enthusiasts, collectors. Looks cool, photography is very well done.

The book is obviously for watch enthusiast. It takes the view point from the owners of particular watches & what it means to them personally as well as information on the watches themselves. It didn't bother me that I didn't know all of the people mentioned in the book, I appreciated their nostalgia & history of their time piece.An enjoyable steady read for watch enthusiasts, a different view point than most books about watches which tends to concentrate on watches, brands, history just like every other watch book.This is a book of personal emotional ownership.

Fantastic book for someone who has everything, nice piece to keep out on display too

This is an excellent book with lovely photography and some fascinating stories attached to some interesting pieces. It's not a review of the watches themselves but about individual relationships with them. The book covers everything from cheap digitals to high end vintage watches. The content is very accessible beyond the interest of watch enthusiasts and a book you can easily dip in and out of so would make a great gift. The tales of the watches passed from father to son are particularly poignant. Not so much a book about watches but the people who own them. Thoroughly recommended.
