Q: One Chaco has much more leftover strap when fitted correctly, is this a defect? The other shoe is fine

I have very narrow feet so both of my shoes had so much strap left over that I was stepping on them. I took them into a seamstress and had about 2 inches cut off both straps. They’re perfect now.
