I use it for my pottery clay. Some experimentation will be needed. Expect to break a few bits.

Can it be used for painted glass?

you can paint your own designs on the glass using high temp kiln paint but not the kind you heat set in an ordinary oven. It's a bit hit & miss with timings though you have to just use trial & error.

Can you melt sead beads in this?

Yes you can. Do remember to take proper precautions and that microwave ovens differ.
