Does it come with a ball

Yes, a blow up one, better to buy another more substantial ball when you get to your destination though!

Has anyone blown this up without the use of a foot pump or any other aids, if so how long did it take to blow up?

We took this away last year - it's small enough for a suitcase. We blew it up (by lung) and it took less than 10 mins. It takes more puff to blow a lilo. We weighted it with full water bottles (3-5L size). We left it blown up and used it every day. We did take a variety of balls to try. I hope this helps.

What do you weigh it down with? Have tried diving weights but they are not heavy enough.

Hi we buy the local bottled water that comes in 4 or 5L containers. Once we've used the water up we refill them with pool water and use them for weights. You need to use whatever size water bottles that come with a moulded handle - we just attached the strings to the handle and placed them on poolside. Hope this is helpful. Enjoy.

How heavy is this (assuming we'd weight it with stones on holiday) and how small does it pack down to go in a suitcase please?

Comes in box about 30cm x15x 15 and not too heavy. We have had 3 over the years because the net tends to disintegrate in the sun. ( turkey not the UK!). We now but garden netting to use when original starts to break down.
