Global Gizmos 45390 Crystal Starball Disco Light/Mini Disco Lights/Battery Operated/Party Light for Kids Birthdays, Family Gatherings, & Christmas / 9cm x 9cm

Arrived in a big cardboard box, inside a small box. Opened it up and looked at it and have to say was slightly disappointed, looks cheap and nasty (well it was cheap!) any way but the batteries in and switched it on. First thing to note that it has a motor to spin the unit, but the LEDs were surprisingly bright. Needed it for a party to light up a candy cart disco.It worked perfectly was switched on at 6pm and was still going at 11:30pm when we collected.For the money it was perfect. Have tried it in the house and would be excellent for kids parties but not good enough for a large hall as you would expect.I don’t think it would take a lot of abuse, so not suitable for those little kids hands.All in all ended up very impressed.

It works great and adds a simple disco feel to a room but it not for kids. We bought it for ours but the rotating lid did not last long. It’s held by a small screw and it not well supported. It was knocked to the floor and broke off first time. I glued it back on but it didn’t last long.Battery life was poor, while the LEDs are pretty efficient, couple them with the motor that spins the lid and they are drained quite quickly.Added some entertainment but was short lived.

The good- Does literally rave up the place- very Bright lights, good enough for a small space- really nice and clear patterns- doesn’t require cord or plug- low price, same price as shop but slightly better quality- requires common sized batteries instead of rare ones (3 x AA)The bad- could be cheaper, even if slightly. Look out for special offers I guess.- only one speed for spinning lights which is a bit too fast. Could do with a slower speed setting option.- it’s a dome so lights don’t really cover entire room. You have to manually hold and spin the lights for maximum effect.

Good little disco ball with strong, bright lights but is quite fragile.My children used this and one drop causes the top to crack and come away from the screw holding it in place. Now its just balanced on the top.

The media could not be loaded. Built to a price, we’ve had one of these before and it was a fun party light. Decided to buy one again for dance classes but broke within a few weeks of use and is woefully inadequate to fill a big room. Dome no longer spins so it’s just a static light now, but of course it’s too late to request a refund!

Impressed, bought as a toy for youngsters and it's been heavily treated and dropped, it's full of cracks on plastic top, but still keeps on turning.Good light on ceiling and has been in constant use, especially at bedtimes and daily disco that starts up when I return from work.To be honest it's been to successful.It is however a toy and not a serious disco light, it's quite small, battery operated, better for kids, more potable and safer.Great fun to be had if you like you lights turned off as your eating your tea every night.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this as one of my elf on the shelf evenings. Put it in my daughter’s teepee so that they could have a disco. Can’t believe how bright and the coverage this little thing has!My daughter loved it and still uses it in her room now for a disco in the dark.
