KenKen For Kids!

Was looking for a puzzle book for my kids as an alternative to screen time, and glad we got this. A red kangaroo explains the basics of KenKen, and as the puzzles get harder starts to explain strategies. It begins with very easy 3x3 addition puzzles and by the end the kids will be working on 5x5 puzzles. My kids who had done Sodoku but not KenKen were able to figure it out on their own, and are enjoying challenging each other to advance to the more complex puzzles. I'm excited they find something with math to be fun! As the kids do the puzzles right in the book, you kind of need a separate copy for each child.

This is a fabulous book for kids to learn how to solve KenKen puzzles. My daughter has been struggling with her math facts and we hadn't found an engaging way to help her retain them. Enter Lulu the KenKen Kangaroo! I have even gotten into KenKen now. My daughter and I are having fun together while learning something new in a really entertaining way. Thanks, Lulu!
